I think that it is all relative. Selling an investment worth $6000 for $120 must have hurt, but there must have been an urgent reason to make that kind of decision. Otherwise, surely the best thing to do would have been buy more and then your selling point for evens/profit would have dropped drastically. Personally I am confident in the market recovery, so have decided not to sell at a loss, but should I need the money at some point, I would do it in a heartbeat. That's life right, win some, lose some. All that said, the last couple of months have felt like swallowing knives.
