alot of countries and central banks are starting to regulate cryptos and icos in particular. hardly any ico's to participate in here in U.S. I did find UTN checker that accepts U.S. investors. I think they go through a 3rd party escrow. here's a ref: https://check.universa.io/-6HF9di

Waves has been my worst exchange. All the coins I have in waves are all in pennies could not even make up to $10.00. If Russia wants to regulate then Amen to waves and projects that uses it.

While coins such as NEO and ether made a great spurt up between Christmas and mid-January, waves actually only showed a flat or downward trend. I have always been a fan of Waves, but gradually I get the feeling that they are missing the boat. New ICOs on Waves are practically never very successful compared to the ICOs that appear on the Ether and NEO platform. I am starting to lose confidence in Waves a bit. How do you face that?

I actually like Waves and plan to acquire some more soon. There are a lot of unique tokens trading only on waves that have great potential. It's easy to scoop them up for a small amount and wait for them to get listed elsewhere. Kind of like all the trapped tokens on EtherDelta. Great potential but stuck on a tiny exchange.

Waves is my first choice and it is really a good altcoin for new coin holder. Waves has own blockchain and it is secure wallet. I think waves can reach $100 in this year. This is time to buy some waves coin.

I dont know how will price grow but for use WAVES is definitely better than many other cryptocurrencies! Besides Sasha Ivanov all the time develops his project!

I know CoinStarter project, it was on WAVES, but now on Ethereum Blockchain.
I know Saske project, social token on WAVES, ICO price was 1.26-6.26 EUR, now is 0.0000007 USD
I know PPLSWG, a media platform, they are preparing for ICO, I hope they can do better the olds.
WAVES is strong blockchain, but they need more project to make buying pressure and increase WAVES price.

Waves have a bright future in crypto industry. Maybe it is not yet the time of wave to shine in crypto. Maybe as what other said it will boom in 2019 and I also think about that. Hopefully waves will boom sooner.

Wave has a very great future even with ICO regulations. Though it may be more profitable in the long term, it's just a matter of time..Despite the fact that wave is a strong block chain, I think they need more projects to help increase its price.

The last few week Waves price is down due to overall all bitcoin market is crashed. But in future as the market start getting their investors back and going up again Waves price will rise.

Regulation isn't necessarily a bad thing.. it can be good. I think from what I've seen so far froom people like China and the USA that they just want to keep a lot of the bad players out of this space.. and sure it may be a little unfair for some of the good ones, but I think ultimately regulation is a good thing and will lead to people feeling safer investing in this space.

Waves is the best smart contract or token creation platform where non programmers also able to create the wallet but the sad thing is there is not much successfull ico launched on waves platform .Recently burger king in russia started accepting waves based token on payment mode . The future of Waves is actually a very great one. The problem is that Waves for now is like a sleeping giant. The Waves Platform, for example, is not that utilized according to its true potentials. I think there will come a time in a few months to come that Waves Platform will be at par with the Ethereum Platform. Waves DEX is also a good exchange site although there are only a few coins. The true future for Waves is not yet here.

Waves has a great future! I am currently hodling some. Smart contracts will be released very soon. The price is very cheap compared to other projects that don't even come close in the development department.

First, we have to remember that Waves price in June 2016 was $ 0.7 per unit, and it is now above $5 per unit. Which means that this increment was of +600% in one year. Waves is a "long term investment" cryptocurrency.
Waves will enable people to make custom tokens and create their own cryptocurrencies (without coding) and then launch their own ICO to fund their projects. This is great and very interesting.
For these reasons, I think waves will be a big tradable value in the future.
