Title: Have you used faucets?
Post by: Terry Telford on February 07, 2018, 01:52:32 AM
I just started into the cryptocurrency market in December 2017 and I am having a blast! I have been playing with faucets for the past 3 weeks and I'll be withdrawing my "earnings" sometime next month.

My question is, do you use faucets and have you been able to easily withdraw your earnings? I'd like to join some faucets that are trusted. Once I've been able to withdraw from the ones I'm in, I'll share my experience. I would like to hear about your experience and which faucets you recommend.

Thanks

It tooks ages to earn something with faucets. But I was also starting with faucets. Maybe you can earn more if you will refer for faucets. The best way to earn something is to do bounty or signature campaign. Also some airdrops are good. For familiarisation with cryptocurrency, faucets are good choice, but not if you want to earn something.

Faucets for many reasons are not good in my opinion.

Payout is very low, fees consume lots of any profits and time after time faucets have just disappeared from one day to another.

An example: A BTC faucet  pays you realistically around 50 Satoschi at the moment. At coinpot the transaction fee for a BTC withdrawal is 2000 Satoshi, while minimum payout is 2500 Satoshi. Do the math.

Besides clicking faucets is dull boring, there is a high risk that all kinds of malware can be put on your computer. Unwanted browser mining tool infections are here the least of your worries. For many faucets to work you have to disable security software.

Waste of time: It take you hours, days, month to get any serious amount out of faucets which you spend doing something boring. It is just a waste of time, in which you could do something more profitable.

I'd not recommend any faucet. What I'd recommend is educate yourself about cryptos and find sometimes in that field wich has a higher pay.

Faucets, I had done a lot 2 months before when I realized that I can get free but it would take years to build a good pile of coins. Now I don't like doing any faucets.

Had only used FaucetHub faucets, where I had claimed DOGE, BTX, LTC when it was giving some decent coin and now its just waste of time. Though I won't say that I haven't made any thing. I made about 1000 DOGE, 0.5 BTX & 0.3 LTC these are the approximate value. All these were earned in 3 months and that's also back 2 months back, when in December 2017 I decided to quit claiming faucets and focus on trading crypto.

I use faucets , as experience is very boring but you can really earn something from them :)

It's easier withdraw your funds if those faucet send what you earn to a microwallet as Coinpot and Faucet Hub.

If you want I can pm you the links of faucet that I am using  :).

I agree with you. Wasting of time is my concern. Take long time to wihtdraw. I often in despair waiting to reach minimum withdraw. I leave my faucets. Now I try with bounty and airdrop.

I agree with most posters that it's very time consuming.  The only ones I use now are the Moon faucets, which pay directly to Coinpot.  I claim twice a day...once in the morning and once at night...mainly to retain the daily loyalty bonuses.  I also use Qionpro, which is basically set and forget.

I'm not big on faucets just because the timing of clicking them can be a bit unhealthy and obsessive.. the pay I don't really find worth it either unless you have tons of referrals and its just passive income.  Anything is better than doing nothing though to increase your portfolio though, so if it works for you more power to you... its just hard to sleep as it is without worrying about another alarm/timer going off or something to dream that I'm forgetting to click or monitor, lol.

Hey Guys.

Faucets yes i think that's where everyone starts off i guess, only reason i started with faucets because i wanted to know if this was real, yeah i started half way through last year and at that time coinpot was paying out really good that was the only faucets i used and still do now, not often then i used too. Enough said don't really bother now as everyone is aware that an get coins by other means.so i guess its a good place for a beginner i suppose, But very time consuming........and of course always received my coins....

I used a faucet some time ago but got bored since it takes a long time before you can withdraw if you don't have any referrals but if you can get many referrals then you might earn some.

Yeah i started in June 2017 and my first experiences with cryptos were through faucets. I can tell you it's definitely not worth the time. I spent almost every break claiming and ended up with almost nothing.

The only faucet i still use is: freebitco.in

The rate is moderate, but they attract me with their dice game, lottery & reward points. My total winnings from this site since June: 0.006 BTC (around 60$ with current price).

It's a possibility to earn very small amounts of cryptos (mainly BTC) by finishing a small taks. Most of the times you have to solve a captcha to get some satoshis. Usally you will have to wait some time to claim again afterwards.

It is very difficult to get founcet because at this time many active users are so expert in this field so we will need more experience, but if I currently follow bounty project program, like signature, sosmet, blog and many more, I pursue this new range beginning of 2018.
Hopefully we can get maximum results,

I have never followed a faucet, even though I have joined Crypto Currency for several years. When I first joined until now, I only focused on trading. I also never followed airdrop, because according to some people's experiences, following airdrop will take a lot of your time. So, I will be happy to hear your experience following the faucet. Good luck with your faucet.

well, i've tried an onion faucet and if I remember well a Bitcash one... I've collected on both, but I've came to the conclusion that it is not worth the time, as the values are too small to count (even when hopping for a bull market)...
maybe the best use would be if you have more coins from the same currency and want to grab a few more...
cheers

I don't play with Faucet anymore for now, because now it's very difficult to get Bitcoin sathoshi. maybe because now the price of bitcoin is expensive, so the Faucet developer is reluctant to share it for free.

There are many faucets paying 5 or 6 satoshi a time. That is too small. I use one paying 30 every 5 minutes. I have tried bounties in the past but some do not pay so I give them a miss.

My favorite by far has to be freebitcoin, since they don't even have advertising.  I didn't win too much at their multiply game. But there was one traditional faucethub at the time site, it offered dice, and each satoshi claim good be gambled before withdrawing to the micro wallet.  I made a killing there, well in faucet earnings standards.  I did withdraw from freebitcoin once, and it was easy, I chose non instant option and my coins arrived during their next payout.  Faucethub was easy too, I think it was weekly, can't remember for sure.  I also used moon faucets, moon doge, moon bitcoin, I liked those alot, haven't used them in a long time though.  For moon doge I made a couple withdraws straight to doge wallet, was super easy.  After that I moved onto reward sites that pay in crypto, since i'm in a video/survey compatible country, and been doing that ever since.  I remember my first faucet experiences with a smile, since I learned a lot and did get some coins, learned about wallets.  In general I think micro wallets make it super easy to claim and withdraw, and doge is easy to withdraw, for straight to address doge faucets.

I use faucets two years ago and during that time, each hour they would give you around 1000 faucets and many of them are legit and then for some time I got bored so I find another way to earn and that is through another forum. I am earning much better within a short period of time. That's the reason I stop earning from faucets and just focus on earning from forums because it is a much better way and I am learning every day.

Most of the faucets are waste of time neither consuming time. The only problem with this is your total earnings after all of your efforts and time juts a little profit. Although it is good but not enough to sustain your major needs.

Do not apply and do not recommend the use of Cranes for several reasons . The most obvious of them is a Meager income with a waste of a huge amount of time on the network. On-my electricity is spent more than profit from earnings. The second reason is the great chances to infect your computer with malware.
Generally simple waste of time-earnings zero.
