Title: What projects was built with IOTA?
Post by: Fact on October 22, 2017, 02:30:09 PM
I am not aware of any current IOTA projects other than a few niche developments.

However from their road map and official blog it seems their might be some very interesting projects underway.

Any projects you know of ?

I think Oyster Pearl (PRL) is going to use the IOTA tangle for data storage.
It's a ERC20 Token and sill has a low marketcap, great Investment!

I'm wary of IOTA. The idea is good and maybe in the future I would invest in IOTA, but at the moment for me this is just a coin with interesting potential which can go belly up at any moment or if there are no big problems the price most likely will remain stable so I don's see big potential for growth in the next six to twelve months.
Big problem for the blockchain is the tangle technology itself. You can imagine it like river stream and all nodes conect with some node downstream and at the final there is this trusted super node (the head quarters of IOTA with their servers). Which makes the blockchain centralized and I don't expect growth in the coin before the devs find solution to this problem.
