Crypto currency Mining / Re: Mining/Staking with a Raspberry Pi
« on: April 12, 2018, 01:12:39 AM »
Staking with a RasPi is a valid thing that many people do. Mining is near to impossible due to the low hash rate.

Yeah that makes a lot of sense. All those plugins are basically malware so I am happy the big companies are cracking down on those.

Their fake mobile miner is ok as it does not really mine. Putting mining hardware towards that coins is not financially viable.

Crypto currency Mining / Re: Companies offering Mining Services

I do not think paying money right now into a Cloud Mining Service is worth the money.

I still have Coins there.  They list stuff that other places do not have so this is beneficial to me. The withdrawl fees on the other hand are an argument against.

Perfect that settles that.

Monero Forum / Re: Will you buy XMR?
« on: March 27, 2018, 11:37:21 PM »
I am not buying any additional to the ones I mine, but in general I advice in favour of acquiring XMR.

Monero Forum / Re: How to get free XMR?
« on: March 27, 2018, 11:35:57 PM »
Nobody is really giving anything away for free on the internet, that is not how that works. I would advice for mining if you ave the knowledge or hardware or just buy some.

Mhh die ist nichts für mich, aber die Business Development Position klingt sehr interessant. Bist du bei Safedroid und kannst dazu was sagen oder bist du nur über die Stellenanzeige gestolpert?

Monero Forum / Re: How to mine Monero using a website?

Cloudmining has never really been profitable and if it was only go with the bigger and proper hoster, who actually have has rate and not just increasing exchange rate / ponzi approach.

Monero Forum / Re: XMR mining vs ETN mining
« on: March 17, 2018, 03:25:57 PM »
Did they finally release their wallet? I followed the a bit pre-ICO, but after all their royal screw ups and holding tactics I lost interest in the project. I might even still have some ETN on a paper wallet somewhere.
With regards to mining I stay with mining monero, I simply have not the time or the equipment to jump ship many times a week and even now Monero provides me with stable returns.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Is bitcoin risky ?
« on: March 17, 2018, 03:21:36 PM »
[...]We already know rock stable coin USDT and it works well.
You are joking right? As fair as we know Tether is stabilized by magic as no one has ever found traces of all the capital. Even more there have been irregularities and unwillingness to audit, which makes it even more suspicious.

Monero Forum / Re: I just found an easy way to mine XMR (Monero) !

Yeah my antivirus/script blocker should be worried by it considering I do not want some random scummy admin running a miner script on my hardware for their personal benefit.
Yes I know coinhive and its clones always use the argument that admins can give their users a choice between for example Adsense and mining scripts, but can produce no legit implementation of that idea, but only have background non informed scam implementations to show for.
