Some of the decision might be due to financial contingencies. Selling some of them is not a bad idea.

I agree that holding airdropped amounts might not be the worst idea, but if you really want to sell try Etherdelta for all ERC20 (Etherium) based Tokens. It is a bit tricky to use, but this Forum and Reddit has some pointers about how to use it.
With regards to currencies that are not Etherium based it is very difficult to recommend one single exchange. HitBTC has quit a lot of strange coins listed, but you best bet indeed might be to sign up to bunch of exchanges recommended to you (do it now in case they close registration) and transfer the coins only, when you really want to exchange them. Check minimal withdrawls from the exchanges though.

Dex.market looks complicated and minimum trade is over $100 I guess. Have you tried it before?

If you get airdrop token and if the token is available on market only then you will be sell those token for example you can sell those token in eatherdelta and other site as well.

Currently, most airdropped tokens are registered on DEX's
It takes time before the get listed to bigger exchanges as they need to accumulate volume before they are considered for listing or voting.

Airdropped tokens can be great, but I have, over time, built up a stack of random small holdings, which to be honest are really not worth selling. Just holding them in the hope that they will randomly jump up. Others have given me decent returns, so now I try to avoid the airdrops that only give a couple of dollars worth and concentrate on better ones. Probably earned a few hundred dollars, so it's not exactly a retirement plan, but can't argue with something for nothing.

I would just keep most of it for like a year and see where it goes unless youre convinced the coin is absolute garbage... Ive sold a couple too early and really regret it.. of course it cost nothing so I guess any made money is positive.. but atleast let your coins get a 3 month window to be released on exchanges.

Wow thats great for such question!
My answer is:

After you have successfully got your airdrop, what you need to do is, stay tuned with the official channel news, official group chats, social medias of the sites, which you got the airdrop!
Then the best point, you must following is see on the main goal of the coin or token you just got, where will it be listed for market exchabges, so there must atleast one or two exchanges will be listed on for the first stage!
And the sites may prefer any exchange that fit their best first.....

I first did the mistake of selling a coin in ED as soon as I receive them. Some of them didn't even cover the GAS cost but anyway I did sold. Then I realize that it is a big mistake. (Specially when after selling HAT and REBEL) So now I HODL them in my wallet and after some time I will check on the price and sell them at once
