Why Ripple is hated so much?

It's a pain in the butt to purchase, that's for sure. I honestly can't see it making any traction until they make it easier to buy. Litecoin and Ethereum are front page on coinbase.com and they make it as easy as possible given the required security checks. I've been sitting here trying to buy XRP for 2 hours now.. it's just crazy. WHen I finally get an e-mail that says my account has been verified and I can now purchase, the price may very likely be where I no longer want to buy. People buy because they see an appealing price, to block them from getting that price is losing buyers.

I love Ripple because it doesn’t collect transaction fees the way PayPal, banks and credit cards do. As a distributed network, Ripple does not depend on a single company to manage and secure the transaction database. It could a reason that.. people just hates bank.. And ripple is connected to bank. that's why people hate it a bit.. because banks has no trust nowadays.. on my opinion..

Possibly because Ripple support banks, this could be considered as contrary to the purpose of Blockchain technology.
But anyway, Riple is still in second position on the coinmarketcap. AMAZING

To me it seems ripple is the future coin. The developers are not just fully ready for future or are defeated by attack against it.
Up till now it has no reliable wallet. You can only by and keep it on exchanges site which is risky.
The official wallet at www.wallet.gatehub.net is a die. Verification documents takes forever no approval. If you want to transfer you ripple out of it it is another problem, because you will loose 50 of your XRP.
This is insane really.
Don't even try to buy on their wallet you may end up paying triple of the worth compare to exchanges.
Lot of things make the war against ripple a clash of the titans

because it doesn't follow the whole idea of creating the cryptocurrencies and decentralization.
Most of the XRP is held and can be controlled by few individuals, Crypto was created to do just opposite of that.

Because Ripple is pro bank, pro corporate and favours the control of cryptocurrencies by the government which is everything people don't want!

Hated because its centralized and mainly used for banking. I think it has some upside when it gets more banks onboard and if it gets listed on Coinbase. But way to many coins issued for the price to go way up.
