They are nothing alike unless you mean, next bitcoin, in the form of market capitalization. Then I can see eth going above bitcoin but if you ask me, this will be because of combination between drop in the price of bitcoin and increase in the price of eth.

As i type, BTC is $10,737.3 while ETH is $888.183. It will be very difficult for ETH to overcome BTC, but a hard working team can make everything possible.

No, I.think Bitcoin cash (BCH) is the next generation of BTC. It is modofications of BTC. Ethereum is different platform Eth is smart contract.

If you mean ETH will be the top 1 cryptocurrency in coinmarketcap, I think it is possible.

Not really. Bitcoin and Ethereum has different number of supply. In order to ether to be the top digital currency I think the team millet take the risk of reducing the supply.

ethereum will never defeat bitcoin in my opinion because bitcoin is the parent of all coins, ethereum will continue under bitcoin, ethereum has an advantage in its smart contract but in the future anything can happen I don't know what will happen in the future.
