Why are my Free ERC20 Token Disappearing from MEW

Hello friends

I noticed free ERC20 token added to myetherwallet disappears when I login to to MEW, after adding the tokens.

A friend said it could be a bug. Now I am afraid to keep using that wallet.

Has anyone experience such?
 
Pls advise.

you check twice? If all your token are disappearing check it in etherscan.io phase your wallet adress in etherscan then  check if you see your free tokens is in there or not. because in mew you can put decimals and token name to see permanent in mew if you'll not put thay you cannot see it. I hope it wi help.

I checked etherscan and can not find the ERC20 tokens added.

It might be due to bug.
My token still there since last year..

Don't worrry to use this wallet, I have the same problem too with this wallet and I tried too to add decimals, contract and symbol.

Probably it's a bug. When I close MEW , MEW automatically removes the new token that I add .

If you have to see if you received a token it's better that you consult etherscan or ethplorer .

i have not experienced that before but i suggest you use etherscan to verify for the token. If it is not found, then i advise you create a new wallet and keep your key store and private keys safe

This is actually a bug, because I experienced such at times, just try to refresh the wallet and if that persist, then check etherscan to be double sure.

In MEW wallet and MetaMask you can choose for more decimals and see token balances like 0.000006 or you can add tokens and they will stay in wallet permanently.

I haven't encountered this but i suggest try to view your account using private key and add tokens instead of View w/ Address Only.  Hope this works mate
