Hi everybody,
Just a curiosity, to participate at an airdrop lately is very common the requirement to join a telegram group. My question is, by doing that, joining a telegram group, what information are given to the group's admins?

If you join a telegram group Admins will know only that you join telegram and your nickname.

In the airdrop probably They will ask you other info for control that you did what it is required for join the airdrop.

In that case, you have to tell them some info like your wallet address (for receive your token) and social network username(when they required to do a particular action on social network like follow an account and so on).

On Telegram you have the ability to specifically share your phone number with someone, which is sometimes needded (getting readded to a group you left), but the only real public information are your display name, contact name (if you set one), profile pic and bio.

Telegram group is for live activity and the admin of the telegram will be there to suggest you and you will also be able to get info and talk with others as well.

Per my experience, joining telegram groups give you real time answers whenever you want to know something. Telegrams are used mostly by start up projects to build a community.

telegram is a secure chat and most prefered tool for building the communities, you can set up your username and that is how the community knows you (ex. of telegram username: @Alex)
Is smth else you need to knoe more specific about telegram?

They will know if you did join their telegram as required by looking at your unique username. You should have a telegram username in order for you to be indentified.

There are telegram campaign too , by using a code to put on your name or a given picture to put on your profile  , and telegram is so important too, where you can ask questions and easily answered by admins or other members out there   .

Yes, theres a lot of info and details in telegram  you can ask to the admin when can be distribute the token and what the other requirements or what wallet to be using.

If you're planning to join on telegram campaign you are required to give your Forum username, Telegram username but telegram campaigns doesn't always have the same requirements you have to see it for yourself too.
