I've been to hundreds of airdrops and there's really no telling which ones are the best.
Just have a quick read about the project

I have some few guides in spotting fake ones.
Try to avoid those without websites and ANN.
Be cautious also with newly created twitter accounts (most are just trying to gain new followers).
You would also encounter airdrops that require you to join telegram (I recommend you to avoid telegram channels only, No chatroom)
And as always, avoid those that require "donations"

thanks a lot mate...
that was really  useful for me :) :) :)
hope it will help others to understand about the airdrop

You can investigate airdrops by looking at their contract address and their threads. Most airdrops nowadays are scam and don't have thread support. So if you ecounter airdrops without thread support, try to investigate if the y are legit or not.

Use the same process as you would to invest, can maybe be a bit more lenient on the criteria than you normally would as you are only investing a small amount of time instead of money. If you think the project looks good, then get involved. I have joined a number of airdrops, but only a few have really been worthwhile. Some could still prove to be so, but will take time. I don't tend to bother with ones offering less than $10 worth, it gets to be too much effort selling when it hits the exchanges. There's definitely money to be made, but most of them are not worth very much, it's the one in ten/fifty/hundred that will give you a decent return.

My suggestion is to check the credebility of the airdrops. You can make a research about the platform they are making for to ensure that their project is not a waste of time and effort.

You can follow some airdrop webpage. They list only quality airdrop.
I've followed them for about 3 months, although some of their listed airdrops are scam but most of them are legit and have high value.

For the convenient purpose, I will not show the webpage here.

I've made the mistake of just joining a bunch of airdrops that seemed legitimate without doing enough due diligence. Yes, I've been scammed, but I think it's led me to having a decent system for airdrops. Start with a spreadsheet to track the airdrops, create some filters by labeling columns and filling them in with color if they check off. Social media presence, contract address, token supply, premine % just to name a few, make a column for date of airdrop so you don't forget. Bonus points for airdrops with a team that has linkedin profiles, negative points for airdrops that claim they will hit a certain price, etc. you should do what makes you comfortable or what you're interested in at the least. Happy hunting!

I think firstly, you should check their website and their Telegram or Twitter (if any), If you find cleary information about their project like roadmap or whitepaper in the website or theỉr community is huge (member of telegram or twitter), it maybe a good airdrop. But i think you should join bounty instead because airdrop offer less than bounty many times.

To add to the other comments in this thread, I would also recommend to definitely not participate in any airdrop that requires a KYC (providing identity documents etc.). There have been some valid projects that have done this, but nevertheless providing a copy of your passport or identity document in order to receive tokens worth 0,50$, is simply not worth the risk.

I do all possible Airdrops - even the most craziest - who seems ver scamy to me. Those typically involve ETH wallet and Telegram. Mostly in chinese language.
I would advise using Telegram group which advertises Airdrops. There many groups which update their group with new entries. Test those entries , give stars, possible earnings, and so on. Time will only tell which is a golden airdrop and which is nothing. Prepare to have nothing and hope for the best.
My advise grow Twitter account and add as many followers as you can it is vital for many airdrops even to participate to have certain number of followers.

You can join some groups to post airdrop on telegram. They are experienced people who will choose the best projects for all members to participate in. Or you can also search some websites that publish airdrop information.

The easiest way to choose a good Airdrop project to join is to go to the telegram application and type "airdrop", groups will appear and find a group that has shared reputable projects and join.
