Gambling discussion / Re: PBA Betting and Discussion Thread
« Last post by bisdak40 on Today at 02:01:06 AM »
Result from last night's game:

1st game:
Magnolia - 108
Terrafirma - 100

2nd game:
ROS - 120
NLEX - 104

The two favorite teams won their respective games last night, ROS continued their winning streak and is now assured of a quarter-final slot, and the same with Magnolia.

21Wins - 14Losses, my standing thus far.

"We see you have contributed to web3.py [this is true] and that you are elligible for a XYZ airdrop [or some other acronym] so please allow me to use your Github account for 10 minutes so that I can help you claim it."

Or other times its "Please give us money so that we can claim the airdrop for you."
This is a very '90's way of scamming people TBH. A very common way of scamming people, but it seems like it's working because they are still using it.
Anyway, I didn't expect that scammers will beg for money. :D

Kidding aside, I'm joining airdrops a few times this year, but those are the ones that requires me to stake some X tokens in order to get this airdrop (for ex. ATOM and OSMO to get TIA airdrop, etc.). I don't join to this type of airdrops, but I'm the type of a guy who is very suspicious at first hence, when I see that the email or the content of the text suspicious, I just simply ignore it like what I'm doing for many years already.

If you're the type of person that's joining airdrops, maybe getting the official emails of those projects might help so that it will decrease your chances of getting scammed. Don't entertain random emails unless you want to troll them. :D

Sorry about those few minutes of errors. I was trying to update something which I thought wouldn't cause any issues, but it did cause major issues, which I wasn't entirely prepared for.

Seputar Forum / Re: Akses ke forum sangat lambat
« Last post by Husna QA on Today at 01:58:47 AM »

Does Bestchange offer Bitcoin to NGN (Naira) or Bitcoin to Gift Cards? With the latest Nigerian government onslaught on the P2P exchange marketplace, more than 30 million Nigerians would soon be without a venue to trade, not everyone is aware of DEX or how to use them. If an exchanger on your platform may provide these services, Bestchange will benefit greatly.

BestChange does not offer any exchange options, they are only monitoring a large number of instant exchangers, Some of them might support NGN.
As far as I remember, a few months ago there was an official announcement that NGN was added to the list, so for example you can find https://www.bestchange.com/bitcoin-to-visa-mastercard-ngn.html

Basic Questions about Cryptos / Re: [GUIDE] What are Crypto Airdrops?
« Last post by Paldo.io on Today at 01:58:23 AM »
Maybe you can show something more to make your words credible. People will look for a negative side since they don't find any reason to believe in your words especially since your account is a newbie account. They might think that the airdrops listed might be full of scams or phishing and not being filtered by you.

Though I fully support using your website as I have experience and know those listed airdrops you have on your website. Aside from that, I know you from the other forum. ;)
In hindsight — I think I should've used my other forum's username instead for better reputation lol.  :o

But I suggest you guys should also add short term and point based airdrops, like the airdrops in which we make points by posting on twitter and tagging the projects, I think such airdrops are also worthy enough to be on your website. I liked the layout as its very simple and I will join your TG as well. let's see what you guys have on your TG, As far as I have seen handling TG is very hard task.
I'm so not a fan of those social media airdrops. The reputable airdrops has moved on from those to liquidity airdrops already. Thanks for the recommendation tho!

Because of the popularity of airdrops, there are even some people in our country, who even initiate to conduct a mastering airdrop course. It's a good initiative, actually. But the only thing I disagree with is they require a participation fee. LOL.
If there is a fee and there is a guarantee that participants will get something of equal or greater value than the fee paid, that is no problem. In fact, usually airdrops that use fees have a small number of participants, so airdrop results can be maximized if you use a pool system.

This fee does not have to be paid directly, but could be a main requirement such as capturing transactions or something else. Like Uniswap, which requires users to have made transactions several months before the airdrop announcement was launched. There are those who spend some money on airdrops, and as long as it's worth it, why not?
Indeed, this makes sense.
It cannot be denied that if we do an airdrop, our desire is to get good results from the airdrop. especially if it requires a fee. In this case, the fee is a very small amount. If the fee is considered quite high, even more than 5$, this will be very suspicious, right? Therefore, we as airdrop hunters also have to consider the pluses and minuses, and the possibilities of whether this is a scam or not.

In the past, I had already issued it, an airdrop on blockchain or another platform, it was a long time ago and I forgot, and if I remember correctly, I had to have a fee or something, but it was really a very small amount. And it is used as transfer only. so after that it really really made a difference. At that time you could get at least $25, which is quite good considering the fee paid doesn't reach $1.
Yea — contrary to what a lot of people think, most airdrops(good and bad) aren't really 'free'. The good airdrops today that pay really well require you to stake or provide liquidity(albeit temporarily, you can withdraw after); with the risk of protocol exploit. Though I carefully handpick what I list on Paldo.io to make the risks as low as possible, this risk can't be 100% prevented.

Pero sinabi ng Binance dito,

The global exchange also said it is committed to comply with Philippine laws and its ongoing efforts to resolve the situation favorably.

Binance also stressed that the situation is just temporary:

It’s important to note that in spite of the temporary accessibility issues, Binance is committed to complying with local regulations and securing a beneficial outcome for our users.

Binance Statement
The exchange also warned against using third-party platforms for accessing Binance:

Please keep in mind that the unfolding situation is dynamic and complex. As we actively navigate this, we remind you the importance of staying informed and vigilant about third-party platforms claiming to provide access to Binance. We cannot endorse any unofficial methods for retrieving funds.

At may precedent narin diba?

Cryptocurrency Trading / Re: Hold and trade which is best for you?

Re: Hold and trade which is best for you?
Maybe change the "AND" with "OR" since you let us pick 2 things. :)
Anyway, different investors have different answers to this one because it's a subjective topic, but I rather go hold some long-term coins rather than trading.

I already tried trading and lost many times on it, and it came to a point where I was disappointed on myself because even though I'm watching YouTube videos every single day, I still lost because of my wrong decisions and my emotions. I thought back then that emotions will not affect me since most of the time especially with my investments, I always don't use my emotions on it. Anyway, holding is what works for me hence, that's what I'm focusing with right now.

I know that there are some who are doing both holding and trading, and there's nothing wrong with it. At the end of the day, what matters the most is we earn profits from what we are doing. :)
