DeFi tokens / The state of EigenLayer Airdrop and its pre-market.
« on: May 05, 2024, 04:09:24 AM »
Well  :) you all guys know what this is about. Basically in early '23, the project launched its testnet, which users participated in and in Q4 '23, Eigen launched its mainnet, which was a major turning point that boosted the hype.

And then in late 2024, they allocated 15% of the total EIGEN token supply for airdrops over multiple "seasons". They first took snapshots on Mar 15 for season 1, eventually opening the claim window 5 days from now. But the bad news is they introduced Non-Transferability, which led to massive fud from people who have been waiting for the airdrop.

Now determining the price of $EIGEN, I saw it's trading around $8.2 to $9 on Bitget pre-market. Speaking of the price, I feel like we can really see it going towards 10$. Do you guys think it will keep up its momentum once officially lists on cexs? I mean this project has been trending for quite a long time. Would surprise if it's not even up to standard.  ;D

The whole idea behind altcoins was to take the revolutionary tech of Bitcoin and run with it, exploring all the amazing things it could make possible. They wanted to use blockchain technology for everything.

Okay, this might sound biased  ;D, but don't you guys think staking in launchpools is better than normal staking nowadays? I used to stake Tron back in the day, but the rewards were so low that the fees to redeem them would eat up the profits entirely :o

With launchpools, I've used BGB, BNB, and USDT, and I've always gotten good returns on the new tokens being launched  :). I've received a bunch of tokens from projects like ZKF, ENA, and GRAPE by staking BGB. Best part? The APR rates were crazy high since ZKF went all the way up to 329%! I don't think you'll find APRs like that with normal staking (or maybe you can, but it's gotta be rare  :-X).
And also, I don't know if you've heard, but there is a recently introduced PoolX product that works similarly as launchpool but with key differences. The biggest difference is you earn rewards hourly. Here's a image between exchanges staking comparsion:

You can even redeem your rewards easily and unstake instantly since there's no locking period. This means lower risk than launchpools. I think this is a unique way to stake up tokens rather than normal staking with lower risks.

Anyway, I trust your judgment ;D – you guys know best. So, what's your take: launchpools or normal staking? Which has been better for you?

Does anyone have experience with crypto loans? Are there platforms known for having better terms and lower interest rates? ;D

I'm currently on a loan, not on a platform but on a person on the other forum Bitcointalk the member has a loan business, and the interest is low compared to banks, when making a loan choose USDT so you will never have an issue with volatility and the transaction fee is not that high.

There are times when you need to pay the loan but you cannot because of the high cost of transaction fees and the loan coin has already increased its value that you end up losing.

Okay so how do you even get a loan from them on Bitcointalk then? I mean it's very risky in my opinion. And thanks I'll take that in mind to choose USDT, hopefully it won't do any bad.
The only fact I asked is that I wanted to look around the loan options. So far I have got a lot of options for CEXs from you guys here. So thanks to all of you.

I've never been a fan of loans as I prefer to save up and take care of issues when they arise. I literally got into a big message when I took a loan from a commercial bank once.. :( But with the way things have been lately, i'm beginning to reconsider. So, I'm opting for a crypto loan as a potential option.

I understand the risks involved with this kind of borrowing. Crypto volatility, platform security, these are all factors I'm weighing carefully. That said, I'm hoping to lessen some of that risk if possible. Please >:( I need pointers in the right direction.

Does anyone have experience with crypto loans? Are there platforms known for having better terms and lower interest rates? ;D

General Discussion / Have you won anything online?
« on: April 25, 2024, 10:39:37 AM »
So I was wondering how many of you have ever won something you deemed worthwhile online. Say it be spinning games, giveaways, all expense paid trips, gambling (which I don't encourage tho  :-X).

Nowadays, Twitter is full of giveaways. If you look at some platforms like Binance, Trust Wallet, Bitget, Kucoin ; even some KOLS that do giveaways. I saw some good giveaway prices like PS5, Laptops and more. I know that doesn't seem true, cos I always thought they used to farm engagements. But looking forward to now it doesn't look even fake, since people are still getting the stuff they won and announcing it on their profile.. :o

So it doesn't matter if you are lucky or not, you'll surely win something even if it's some crypto tokens or coupons.  :-*
Let's hear your awesome and not so awesome experiences?

Meme Coins / Isn't this funny that there's a lot of memecoin variants?
« on: April 22, 2024, 11:48:17 AM »
So, it just came to my mind, since I was recently looking at some crypto coins/tokens in coinmarketcap, I see a lot of pepe variants, and I'm thinking how many people are aware of OG Pepe? I am not saying it's disrespectful, but it's good that it's still being pushed by the name of PEPE.
If I talk about DOGE now, there's a lot of variants there, that you can just type doge in cmc, there'll be a lot of results of memecoins.

But anyways, moral of the story is that some OG memecoins aren't moving in price or got abandoned by real devs. So some devs literally go with their own name,  add OG names into it ; making old communities come up to make it up to the top by raiding and mainly if you can make profits with it without being greedy. Am I right?  :) Also wondering how many of you invested in memecoins last time? Or did you quit too soon?  :P

Dogecoin Forum / Love it or hate it, but DOGE made history!
« on: April 18, 2024, 06:20:19 PM »
Do you guys know what day tomorrow is  ;)? I believe most of you probably do. Doge has come long enough to be king of meme coins. it has done enough to earn its spot on top memecoins.
it has also been a fun token, real token, and whatever you say, but it's also been a good investment. I am sure OG holders can relate to this when Elon Musk tweeted about the Lion King meme of him holding up the dogecoin dog, and that day the dogecoin rose up that nobody had imagined that with that significant supply could go up to that price. The value increased by about 339% to $0.03. But before that happened, the price was hovering between $0.0001 and $0.002.

Now to think that person holding memecoins long-term is stupid, cos memecoin doesn't fit for this hodl. But most people back then probably felt like this for DOGE.  :(

I'm gonna ask you all  :D: how many of you have been holding doge until now? Are you gonna buy again or get rewards in DOGE while doing some tasks like we used to do in 2019??
I believe some of you were tipped in $DOGE and became holders that day, cause that's how it happened to me..  ;D

Well! Title explains it already ;D but let me explain it more thoroughly. So there's a lot of memecoins and keeps on coming like PEPE, Rich Quack, Roost Coin, CATWIF and many many funny memecoins. I know that it's not good or bad but at least for those people who love to invest in the short term on memecoins, they like to cash out on profits. I wonder if some of you invested in memecoins in the long-term?  ???

Let me tell you guys that I used to hold some Dogecoin back in 2019/20. I don't know if I wanna call myself an OG holder, but yeah I had been holding it until Elon Musk made it pump  ;), so I cashed it out and holding some stable coins right now and divided it to invest in new memecoins actually for the short term. I know most of you guys are already investing in new memecoins, like the coins of funny, serious, tribute to something and so on like I mentioned before.

Anyways as always, memecoins are riskier than 100 real projects out here. So I advise you to do your own research, don't just take my post like an advice or a sign to invest in it haha  ::)
am not a fan of meme coin but like you ? I am once  Dogecoin investor that i kept this coin like yours when even before Elon Musk bumped thre project,
but nowadays I only have some Dogecoin remaining in my Gambling sites readying if ever i wanted to gamble there are still available funds that i can spend and enjoy.
but for new project there i a little chance that i will invest in meme coin  nowadyas.

Basically memecoins are gambling since I call that way... I don't advise anyone to trade on i t though but good to see a fellow been holding doge!  8)

Good luck if you're going for memecoins.  ;D

Crypto Exchanges / The growth over the CEXes in the past months!
« on: April 08, 2024, 12:21:22 PM »
I know in this forum, majority of us trade on CEX while others trade on DEX, and I can see there's DEX vs CEX debate as well, but let's keep that aside and I ask you something, have you seen the recent growth of some CEXs? These numbers don't lie if you look at it.  ;)
So most of us know that Binance is the top1 one and only has been growing since, and also they recently had a good increase in Q1 spot trading volume growth according to cryptorank, reference here: twitter.com/CryptoRank_io/status/1776233217311338824

Looking at this report, even though I was surprised to see that other CEXs like Bitget, Bitmart, Bybit and others took lead as they experience rapid expansion. Binance could have easily totally taken the top spot in this report, but I guess it makes sense, that it's just failing to regulate in some regions and these other CEXs are listing tons of new tokens all the time. Since that means more choices and a much bigger market for everyone. Super helpful for projects that have been around for a while but haven't snagged a Binance listing yet.
So now I wonder what else things that drive them to have a good report this year?

As you may agree or not, CEXs generally have much higher trading volumes than DEX and that makes it for users to buy and sell on the CEX rather than on DEX.  :D

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: What do you think of TON blockchain?
« on: April 04, 2024, 02:09:52 PM »
When you want to compare a project like TON — “The Open Network” — comparing it to Solana is not realistic, as the project aims to enable fast transactions and support a wide range of decentralized applications (dApps). It is similar to XRP, as both are not intended for speculation, and both projects were pursued by the Securities and Exchange Commission. The United States (SEC) made TON work as a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) and there is wTON on the Ethereum blockchain.

The comparison result shows that TON is not a good for long term, but you can use it to speculate before news happens just like you do with XRP.

So you think they won't move just because it's controlled by SEC ? I mean TON Blockchain can be a major player if one or two of the projects on that chain grows and it may not be the same to Solana but you can just say about the gains. I'm sorry that I was not being realistic lol cos maybe I was over hyped about it.

Anyways thanks for your opinion, will note that in my mind  ;)

How do we check that NOTCOIN game on telegram?

Telegram has user base thats why anything they do in this chat app, may get the attention of milllions of users. Big developments in telegram, we can already play casinos within this chat app with our builtin wallets too.

I assumed you guys knew about it considering it is all over the place  ;D. Well target, you can search this @notcoin_bot, and you'll find it but unfortunately the tapping phrase has ended, since they will undergo TGE soon around Mid-April.

But anyways I was just talking about that they got over 6 millions users joined on their community channel. so I'm not just talking about notcoin, but TON blockchain overall. You can imagine that people will use that chain more often due to the folks who launched this tapping game on telegram.

You can see that game's success on Telegram shows massive user' interest in TON blockchain. So I'm speculating that TON could be the next blockchain to surge like Solana.

Cryptocurrency discussions / What do you think of TON blockchain?
« on: April 03, 2024, 12:10:34 PM »
Hey guys  ;D, probably this blockchain has been posted here before, but I'm curious to hear more perspectives. if you look at Solana, it boomed in large part due to hype on memes. The SOL's price has increased heavily, and even today it's up another 3%!

Don't you think TON could follow a similar plan  ???? Here's what I think:

Many projects are being built on this blockchain – things like decentralized file storage, unique domain names, even DeFi platforms. That suggests more exposure and increased visibility around the blockchain.
Not only that, the blockchain has fastest transactions but having millions active users on the chain, you can imagine how it will go. This has even happened due to the creation of Notcoin on blockchain and in Telegram app. That Mini-App game has hit 6M+ active users, which increased further interest in TON.

So maybe I'm being too overhyped about this, but I think this could be the next solana. And I can already imagine the hype on Twitter.

Let me know your thoughts on this ;D since I'm hoping this discussion can offer insights so I don't miss out like I did with SOL.
