Gold has a digital and physical value that is extraordinary embedded throughout the world since thousands of years ago and this will really be very good for the future of gold for those who have it.
But unfortunately Bitcoin is a digital asset that was just born in 2009 and of course everyone still thinks that Gold is still the best to invest than Bitcoin.

The value of something new does not always look adequate. After all, once and gold was not so valuable. Now, apparently, not everyone understands the value of cryptocurrency. The main thing is that we have the opportunity to accumulate this asset, which in the future, I am sure, will acquire a value even greater than that of gold.

Personally, I am not questioning the value of Bitcoin at all. I think it is very valuable. I just think it is so different from gold it's pointless to compare them, it's an apples and oranges comparison.

I agree with you. The only asset on the market right now that is trustworthy by the majority is Bitcoin. Everything else is an alternative to him, which does not yet reach his level. Comparison with gold may be, but each asset has its own advantages and disadvantages.

Each asset has its own uses too. Since Bitcoin has no physical uses, it's practical applications just don't exist, but that does not make it any less valuable.

Bitcoin and Gold do not need to be compared and it would be nice if they were juxtaposed together to become a valuable asset for our future to be better or become useful savings in the future for our children and grandchildren.
No one knows our age, maybe now we die or tomorrow we will immediately leave this world, at least if we have Bitcoin and Gold then we can give a little hope for our descendants in the form of valuable assets.

In these times of turmoil, Gold is reaching new ATHs in price. But Bitcoin doesn't leave behind. With a limited supply of only 21 million coins, hardened security, and a focus on decentralization, Bitcoin is often viewed by many as the successor of Gold. One of Bitcoin's greatest benefits on top of Gold, is portability. You can virtually carry your Bitcoin with you safely when travelling, without anyone noticing. That's not the case with Gold, as you'd need to carry physical bullion with you. Other than portability, Gold and Bitcoin are very much alike.

Do you think that Bitcoin will be able to replace Gold someday? As we shift into the "intangible" world, people will "ditch" physical stuff in exchange for digital items. Bitcoin can become the new digital Gold which serves as a safe-haven asset (store of value) in times of need. Thoughts?  ::)

I think bitcoin has potential to be, bitcoin will replace gold at the future .
I always believe we will see the digital era, while digital era coming, I think old asset will be replaced by digital assets.
But not for the few years.
It will take several years again.

Each asset has its own uses too. Since Bitcoin has no physical uses, it's practical applications just don't exist, but that does not make it any less valuable.
Basically, now any asset in the cryptocurrency market has no use in everyday life. But bitcoin is already being used as a means of payment. And the trust in it on the part of asset holders is much greater than in any other asset.

With various countries accepting Bitcoin, it may see the same use in every day life as fiat money currently do. That doesn't seem like an impossible dream anymore.

It is very difficult to talk about this now, when bitcoin will be officially used by all countries, then there is a possibility that it will be traded on stock markets.

Bitcoin and gold are two different things So I think gold will never be able to replace Bitcoin.Because bitcoins are much more valuable than gold.Gold is a real commodity but Bitcoin is a digital currency that is only reflected online. However, as the price of Bitcoin fell, so did the price of gold, which led many to comment that Bitcoin might replace gold. But now the price of Bitcoin has started to rise again.Bitcoin seems to me to be more valuable than gold and bitcoin.

I think it's not even about all countries using bitcoin. Here it is probably more correct to talk about its legalization and about the possibility of payment. If it is accepted at the international level, I am even afraid to imagine what will happen to its price.

Bitcoin can never be a substitute for gold.  You can't replace Bitcoin with gold just because of the price and the transaction.  Because there is no risk in carrying bitcoin, there is a risk of a big loss in case the price goes down to a big .  Gold, on the other hand, has been used by people for ages and will continue to do so in the future.  If you save gold for the future, the price may go down a bit again, so both Bitcoin and gold are reversible.

In terms of application in technology, yes, bitcoin will not replace gold, but in terms of value, this may happen in the future. At this point, it may not yet be understood that bitcoin has value.
