LAPD Recovers $6.9 Million Worth of Stolen Bitcoin Mining Rigs, Suspects in Custody

The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) has apprehended three individuals following the theft of bitcoin mining equipment valued at $6.9 million. The Commercial Crimes Division’s Cargo Theft Unit announced the retrieval of all stolen items. See more for yourself here.

608 bitcoin mining rigs It is not a small quantity or one that can be easily hidden, what were these thieves planning, as operating it would require a large facility and it is easy to track it, and exporting it outside the country or trying to sell it retail is considered dangerous and may lead to their detection.
