SonicX on TRONi protokollide kahvlik, et lahendada vajadus skaleeritava võrgu järele.
Peamine erinevus TRONi ja SonicXi vahel on kiirus või tehingu kiirus. SonicX saavutab kõrgema tehingute töötlemise SVM (SonicX Virtual Machine) optimeeritud arhitektuuri kaudu. SVM on üles ehitatud täpsele disainiparadigmale ja peeneteralisele operatsioonikoodile. Äritegevuse seisukohalt modelleeritakse tehingute töötlemise SonicXi metoodikat reaalses maailmas kasutamiseks. SonicX jõuab siis masternode abil kiiremate tehingute määradeni. See võimaldab SonicXil töödelda 5000 TPS-i ülespoole (tehingud sekundis).
