I think because ethereum is smart contract and many tokens use id. Ethereum is so popular in ICO project.

It doesn't really make sense.  It's like expecting pepsi to completely go away because coke is so much better.  They are different and valuable for different reasons.  There's no reason either one succeeds over the other, they can both be successful.

People wants new. People wants to support new way of business that they know have clear visual of success. Despite of decline still there are enough investors and maybe we can include the new comers in crypto that like ethereum.
