The cryptocurrency is huge because it is the modern money of our time. the technology is still young and will develop to a huge global financial investment. i strongly believed that it is still in it's early stage just like fiat money started way back in the 1880s. if properly harnessed, will change the dynamism of how exchange of services and payment are been treated.

Greatness is supremacy. Better is better than best. Bitcoin captured and capturing the people's dream to have a better place of investment without taxes. In real investment or business huge taxes is compulsory due to the bind of law. In Bitcoin/crypto no taxes just to much risk.

I believe the reason why cryptocurrencies are great today because of the technology behind it. Without the Blockchain technology, there will be no cryptocurrencies to be made into existence thats why the Blockchain technology is the reason why cryptocurrencies today are Capable, Faster, and Efficient form of Digital asset.

I think the only reason we can say cryptocurrency is better than gold is because it has given us the opportunity to make profit leading to financially free specially to the common people. And there's no other big reason behind it.
