I see more than 2000 cryptocurrencies listed on CMC, if you check out other sites and other exchanges this can go up to 3000 or maybe 4000. I think more than half of these coins are dead projects or about to die projects, I dont think that the amount of cryptocurrencies is a positive sign for the crypto future. I find it irrelevant, the important part is the quality of the projects

I think no regulator will stop the coins from popping every where... this is the free market and no one can stop you to make your own company...
This is exactly what the bear market is for...squeezing out the weak and eliminate a lot of crypto-trash... all the scams, crazy projects and ill prepared teams fall on this season...
surely a lot of those coins are vanishing at this moment...and this is good for the crypto scene as it will leave mostly the solid projects
