The developer of the SLERF meme coin on Solana accidentally destroyed 10$ million worth of investors' tokens.
Due to the error, LP tokens and 500 million SLERF tokens intended for airdrop, totaling 50,000 SOL (10$ million), were burned.
The project team acknowledged the error and expressed regret: "Guys, I screwed up. There's nothing I can do to fix it. I'm really sorry," the project's official X account reported.
Nevertheless, that didn't stop SLERF from growing by 940% in the last 24 hours.
