Title: Re: LIST - Bitcoin mixers & Tumbler services!
Post by: examplens on January 10, 2024, 03:27:19 AM
Updates:

* Information about the Yomix mixer that should be known before using this service (01. April 2024)

Yomix withdrew his deposits from 2 forums on which they were advertised (Exploit and another), and literally a few days after that, on another large hacker forum XSS, a user provided evidence that yomix stole 2 BTC from him (at the time of filing the complaint, yomix had on this forum there was a deposit of 1 BTC which was frozen). I won’t go into detail, but now their account is blocked and marked as a scammer.

Less than a few days later, on the same forum, another user reported the theft of 0.5 BTC. Some reputable users began an investigation and came to the conclusion that yomix and several well-known mixers belong to the same group of people.

Is there any reason why you include their BTT ann link? Considering mixers are no longer allowed there, I don't think it is really helpful for most people. Is it just to show their track records? Maybe we can just ask people to post their experience with new mixers if they don't have any announcement thread for that. Most mixers seem to migrate here as far as I can tell, so it should be easy to see reviews on this forum at least.

The official Bitcointalk accounts of all mixers still can communicate via PM, and If someone needs support, any available communication channel is welcome. The basic idea of this thread is to provide as much important information as possible, especially in cases when there is some trouble.

Many mixers still have a BTT link on their pages and not all of them have migrated to this forum yet. Once they also completely ignore BTT, I will delete the links.

BitMixList (https://bitmixlist.org/) this will give you the list of all the best, reliable and privacy sites Bitcoin mixers with additional information like the history of Bitcoin mixers and others

The idea is to open a discussion about mixers, not just a simple collection of data.

Nice and clean list, but maybe you should also add list of archived and closed mixers (no need to add all details for them).
I would also add Joinmarket, and controversial wallets with Coinjoin (Samourai and Wasabi).

Are all listed mixers support only Bitcoin or there are some with support for other altcoins?
Does anyone know what happened with Tornado Cash and similar service.

I plan to add these three mixers to the list, but they are quite unknown to me. Maybe because I haven't seen them active through signature campaigns.
Is there anyone here who has experience with one of these mixers, maybe they can share or recommend it.

I am not sure that it is important to mention mixers from the past, as well as possibly scam mixers or phishing sites. Simply, if they are not on the recommended list, then they should not be considered.

I could also add wallets with the Coinjoin function. Does the Trezor belong there, as far as I know, it also offers a similar possibility.

Are all listed mixers support only Bitcoin or there are some with support for other altcoins?

Honestly, I didn't pay attention to it when gathering information, but it could be significant as an additional feature for mixer services.

Never heard of them.

It is important to have a list of old-defunct mixers to avoid scammers creating fake one with same or similar name and different domain.
We don't need much information about them, it's enough to know they are dead.

Trezor can't do any coinjoin on their own, only in cooperation with Wasabi zkSnacks.
In similar way Sparrow wallet can do coinjoin with Samourai Whirpool.

Thank you examplens for such an informative thread, it's good for us to have all the trusted (atleast for now) mixers all in one place including their contact information, and as well as fees which I personally believe to be the most important part.

I have never tried any of this mixers, so it's hard to really write a good review of any of them at the moment, but then, I hope to try unijoin mixer soon, since it's also a mandatory thing for me to do as one of their signature ad campaign participant.

And concerning including link to the BTT ann thread of this mixers, let hope that users from this forum will be knowledgeable enough not to go creating mixer threads on btt, most especially those who may not know that mixers are banned on that forum.

Read and write carefully.
You are wearing mixer signature, and I think campaign rules are that you should try and review Unijon  ;)

Do you know any other forum or place that is advertising mixers right now except Altcoinstalks?

After mixer exodus happened there are two new rules added in bitcointalk forum today, and now mixers with ddos services are officially prohibited and not allowed there.

34. Promoting or linking to mixer services is prohibited.[11]

35. Promoting or linking to DDoS services is prohibited.[12]

Other forums don't necessarily have a large total number of daily visitors because the aim of this mixer campaign is to increase mixer users, and if other forums still accept mixer campaigns, you have to pay attention to how much traffic they get and how many people visit the mixer website. Bitcointalk is the biggest Bitcoin forum, so Theymos doesn't want to damage the forum's image just because of a mixer.

Hmm, well that is not the every time case, and yes in a marketing campaign, the number of targeted audiences matters. Bitcointalk was more competitive for the mixers and due to some shady cases of the mixers theymos decided to cut off the mixer's side but still privacy-related solutions for Bitcoin are open to be discussed except mixers. It's good for the forum because the perpouse of the forum was to discuss the Bitcoin not to promote the mixers.

AltcoinsTalks is a friendly crypto forum, here we do not ban any good projects. Each project has its own solution, its own target users and its own role in this market.

I believe that Crypto Mixer is one of the important parts to protect user anonymity, and not everyone who uses these services is a bad person with bad intentions. Many organizations and individuals do not want their investments to be traced  8)

This list is important.
I hope that in the future, altcoinstalk becomes a good place for mixers users , where they can get technical and community support , like bitcointalk used to be.

The most important is that we all can just come to altcoinstalks.com  and ask if a mixer is still safe to use or not.

Personally, I agree with joniboini. I would not include bitcointalk links are users might find outdated information there

OP can add prefix OLD ann topic, so everyone can go back in history and see specific mixer activity, something like archive for each service.
It would be best if those services create official accounts in altscointalks forum to answer questions directly here, like it was in bitcointalk forum.
Tumbler.io and few other mixers don't even have ann topic here yet.

I agree with you.
Mixers must move their ANN from bitcointalk to altcoinstalk so community can get their support here. Public places for discussions with service representative is a must for this kind of services.

I think they will come after a few months / weeks, and managers are doing a good job making campaigns here.

I left the Bitcointalk links because it is still possible to contact the mixers through their official accounts on that forum.
I will do an update in one or two days.

Yes, some mixers still haven't officially come to this forum even though they have their promo campaigns. Managers could push them.

Thanks for this wonderful presentation, I think am well used to some of them while some are still someone strange to me, but I can believe that the use of bitcoin mixers is what we all need to afford taking advantage on if we truly care about privacy, am just wondering how many people would have been exposed to the public if there were never any privacy measure in place like the use of mixers for our anonymity, thanks to everyone making this a reality and sustainable for the use of bitcoin, starting from coinomize.Biz down to the other available mixers for their good works.

Yes we certainly don't know about many mixers and we also don't know which mixers have fees, maximum and minimum amount of bitcoins that can be mixed.  Through this topic we got to know a lot about mixer and we can also know about what kind of announcement this mixer will make in the future through this thread.  Thanks to OP who created this important useful topic.

Brand new mixer appeared in forum few days ago called Tengricrypto, so maybe you should consider adding it in your list of mixers OP.
As with every new service better be careful and do your own research before using it and sending all your coins.

I'll move this discussion here because I don't want to derail the Unijoin thread by talking about the Sinbad mixer

They could blacklist any address they want and sending anything from that address to exchange would trigger automatic alert on their system, that could freeze your account.
I think Unijoin is smarter with addresses than other banned mixer you mentioned and they wont get connected with notorious hackers group.

They could, but they didn't. My conclusion is
Sinbad signature escrow address -> regular wallet -> Binance / there are no, or there were no additional checks
Sinbad signature escrow address -> Binance / Binance requested additional checks on the owner and origin of the coin

Looking at the whole thing about Sinbad, didn't they turn out to be quite wise, because all that was found with them was the escrow address (publicly posted) from the signature campaign on Bitcointalk? Around $13k at that moment, filled a few days before.
Remember Chipmixer, who had a huge amount of Bitcoins, servers, and data seized...

Wise how?  :o
I think they used the same address as blender mixer for making payments connected with bitcointalk forum  ;D
This was a rookie mistake and opposite of being wise, to say openly this was foolish and stupid.
Not losing money when seized was pure luck.

Yes I remember.

Yes, through this thread we can get all information about the mixers and I'm happy to see that members are already gaining some benefits by reading this thread. I would love to visit this thread time after time so I can gain updated information about the mixers.

In Bitcoin world we should know about mixers because they play very important role in the life of Bitcoiners. I think via this thread we will not only learn about mixers and their fees but also about the mixers that are advertising on this forum. Hope we may get such updates on time via this thread. +1 for your valuable comment.

I found this thread helpful though I am not using this services right now but maybe in the future if I need to. Hopefully this forum won't ban them as well just like Bitcointalk did. And yeah this is my very first time giving karma here on this forum. 😅

Glad to see this forum taking in the business already banned in Bitcointalk where I am also a member with a lower rank. Although BTT remains to be the number one cryptocurrency forum primarily because of its big traffic and being the original one even used by Satoshi Nakamoto himself, there is no question that Altcoinstalks is one big alternative and happy to see it taking up mixers being a tool used by many to further their desire to really remain anonymous away from the prying eyes of many interested institutions including the government. Personally, I don't see a big problem with mixers as I don't see eye to eye with the governments and in this age where data can be a treasure it is time that we secure our data and not be shared to anyone without our permission. Using the best mixer in the market according to one's preferences is one option one can use to evade intrusion into a person's privacy.

-RESERVED-

This is definitely not the final version of this post, there are a few more mixers that I know of, but I can't access some of them right now because of DDoS attacks, and I'm a bit tired right now.
CryptoMixer.io is also not working at the moment. I tried that using a VPN but same issue. It was working fine a few days ago so I don't know what is the reason now. maybe another mixer fall into the govt's hand or something else. or could be just a temporary server down.

I don't think this forum will ban mixers anytime soon. unless it is pressurized by some big govt entity or something like that. which I don't think would happen. because Mixers generally are not illegal. it's just that they are used for illegal activities which brings them into trouble.

Do you know any other forum or place that is advertising mixers right now except Altcoinstalks?

I've seen mixer or similar service advertised on Dread.

Although we must remember there's no way to know whether a mixer actually want to protect privacy or honeypot created by government.

I believe it was temporary because I just tried accessing the site from my end and it worked fine, I might go back after some few hours to see if I’ll get any error while accessing it.

This is very much appreciated OP. Compilation of this list is not as easy as we think because it involves one researching and verifying to know the extent of existence most of the mixers have been. Most of the listed mixers are very much familiar here whilst some were on the Bitcointalk platform before the unfortunate ban on mixers by the admin.
I believe this list can serve as a guide to those looking for mixers to engage their services because the OP is a reliable source of information and if I may ask is it possible to pin this thread at the top of  this board?

Yap, always need to check the Tor site in order to confirm that some of the mixer services are offline. We know from earlier that mixers can ignore clearnet sites, probably due to the greater use of Tor sites, and clearnet sites are more susceptible to ddos attacks.

It is true that mixers have been banned from operating on bitcointalk platform which I think the administrator did that for some certain reasons but however, the mixers announcement and signature campaign thread still exists and can be visited or opened at anytime for viewing. Putting their bitcointalk platform links here could give prospective clients and visitors that confidence that such a mixer do exist before elsewhere on a reputable platform and even running promotional campaign for publicity before the ban on them. This could help boast the presence of such casinos here and even prompt others to come register their presence here as well.

I think it is normal that some Mixer sites no longer have support on the Tor platform because, as you know, in America there are policy problems with Mixer, so many site providers are careful and don't want to have problems with the government or police regarding everything. which smells like a cryptocurrency mixer.

I'll share it here.
User @yummie reported a problem with the Tengri mixer, allegedly it was an amount of 3+ Bitcoin

3+ btc order. After almost 3 days still no money and no response to emails

Their first response:
Looks like I can't send PMs. Meanwhile there is still no answer from Tengri

Hello, sorry for the delay, I am investigating the case.

As they said, the problem was resolved (probably it was because @yummie did not write or complain anymore)

User @yummie deleted his posts, i.e. the content from them, unfortunately. It would be good if he also confirmed here and shared his experience with the Tengri mixer. It would certainly be significant for some future users.

Well, we cannot add more information, the user has requested maximum privacy. We respect the privacy of each user, finally the incident has been resolved via support. Thank you ladies and gentlemen for your interest.  And thanks for reporting this matter.

Now all @yummie posts have been deleted (I guess by mods), Tengri officially refuses to give more information about what the problem was. We did not hear a clear confirmation from the user, nor did we receive feedback from that side on how complicated the problem was

I'm glad that these things work, but we have almost no confirmation about this accident.
How do you feel about this kind of transparency?

I feel great thanks for asking ;D
Maybe because I was not involved in this and my coins didnt get stuck there.
Tengri owners dont want to reveal any information or explanations and we should respect that, but I wont be using their new service after this.

Can someone add stats information for all listed mixer websites, so that we can see who is better ranked and who is having more visits from customers?
Maybe we cant get very precise information and I dont think this is possible for onion links, but it can still be useful for some people.

The most likely answer to your question is NO.
I was making a website with a collection of all mixers, the plan was to automatically check whether each mixer is online and to print a label so that the user has this information. The problem is that many mixers have additional protections and stop this type of access, so I was getting incorrect results. Because of this, the Checker bot was reporting that the site was not available, when in fact it was just a protection.
Also, mixers most often consciously limit or completely disable third-party analytics, so I'm not sure that the results can be relevant to any conclusions.

You can use websites like similarweb.com to get website rankings, this is not exact information but it does show number of visits, ranking, countries and other things.

Let's take tumbler.io for example, they have global rank 1,748,460; country rank 231,469; total visits 17.4K etc.
https://www.similarweb.com/website/tumbler.io/

For comparison, unijon.io have global rank 2,341,313; country rank 690,440; and total visits 14.9K.
https://www.similarweb.com/website/unijoin.io/

Coinomize.biz global rank is 7,175,176 and they have 6.6K total visits:

Note that I took three random mixers from different campaign managers.

It appears that Yomix has inherited Sinbad's clients. Maybe it will bring profit in the short term, but in the long term, it can bring problems with the authorities I would be careful here and pay attention.
I'm not sure how "clean" the Bitcoins are now from their network.

I think cross-chain bridges are more problematic here than mixers, and they are much easier to shut down.
It's interesting to see how mysterious  North Korean ''hackers'' are always showing up conveniently whenever government want's to target some service, same as the evil terrorists with passports that don't get destroyed in fire.  :P

I wonder what is the probability of it having the same owner as Sinbad.

That would make more sense if it is true. Otherwise there is at least 10 more mixers that these guys aren't touching.

Why do hackers need a public mixer service at all? If they successfully hack some big systems, how come they need a third party to clean the coins.

Following the current trend, all other mixers may be close to closing, it's enough for this Lazarus group to send their Bitcoins and screw up their business.

To be honest, not having an ANN means nothing as long as they function and there are no allegations of fraud against them, the forum is fine with it. And, about the message you sent to the support, keep in mind that if it is not mixing/service related, you may not receive any feedback. Saying this out of experience.

Only a few mixers have their own ANN and official accounts here on Altt. I am under the impression that they still do not recognize this forum as an important place for communication with their potential users. We will see in a few months when all these signature campaigns here will be summed up.

We have already reminded the manager (Royse) several times to push the matter with Tumbler ANN here.

Either the Lazarus group is expanding significantly in the cryptocurrency, or it has become an excuse for governments to close any mixer. In general, with the tightening of the laws, I think it is a matter of time before all mixers are banned.

What case are you talking about and is it serious or similar to what happened with UNIJOIN?

Probably the topic of how easy it is to accuse a mixer (or any service), so an example of a strange accusation is Unijoin on this case https://www.altcoinstalks.com/index.php?topic=317783

I think it is futile, the current state is a maximum of improvement when we talk about the structure of the topics on this forum. The priority is bounty and various tokens in relation to things that we consider important for the crypto ecosystem. You should accept it and move on, at least that's what I did.

I couldn't find any confirmation on Google.
@icopress What is the source of this information?
yomix is working well, and if they are accused of being part of a money laundering campaign by Lazarus, it is unlikely that they stole $200,000.

So the two news are contradictory and both cannot be true. Either they stole 200,000 or it is part of a money laundering scheme.

Lazarus Group has been mentioned several times and has been linked to Tornado Cash[1], Blender.io[2] Chipmixer[3] and Sinbad[4] All of these mixers mixed millions of dollars, and no case of losing money was reported, so it was surprising that this happened with YoMix, especially since they showed that they had no financial problem, and the amount was 2.5 bitcoins, compared to what was paid in the signature campaign only.
If these allegations are true, this will be the first scam in which a domain linked to the Lazarus Group has been accused.

I think it's better to create some kind of red (orange, yellow) list of shady mixers and still keep them for informational purposes, than to totally ignore them.
It can be challenging to know what mixers are good and what bad, but I think this can be achieved with community help and posting regular news and updates.

I think it's better to create some kind of red (orange, yellow) list of shady mixers and still keep them for informational purposes, than to totally ignore them.
It can be challenging to know what mixers are good and what bad, but I think this can be achieved with community help and posting regular news and updates.
This is just my 2 sats, but it's his list so he can do whatever he wants.

Yeah, we really need some kind of trust system in this forum.

So we can tag users and services. This would certainly gives more functionality to the forum, and potentially bring more users. As poeple would seek trust information about services here , before using them.

I added an orange warning next to Yomix in the table from the first post. Referred to the quoted icopress post about it.
Orange, because still not confirmed with proof, even though I don't doubt the icopress words.
Red-coloured warnings would mean that the service is officially recognized as a scam or dysfunctional.

I think that there is no need for a green label because it could favour one over the other. I am also of the opinion that there is no need for an additional list of mixers that have stopped working because they are certainly offline, and even if they were operational they would be on the list.

I know that there are a few more mixers that are not on the list, I will look at them in the next few days to do a complete update.

Yeah, we really need some kind of trust system in this forum.
I was not talking about trust system in forum in my previous post, this was strictly related to mixer warnings with colors.
Forum trust can be useful, but it can also create more harm than good.

Icopress posted some screenshots with more information about Yomix in bitcointalk forum, so you should check that out:

Сan you sort by the year the mixer was created? Users will see how long ago this or that Bitcoin mixer has been providing its services to users.

You're right, this is ripe for a red mark. I will change it with the next update.

Сan you sort by the year the mixer was created? Users will see how long ago this or that Bitcoin mixer has been providing its services to users.

I didn't deal with sorting on any basis, maybe I prioritized the first few mixers that I used and at some point had personal experience with them.

I just changed to a red warning next to the Yomix name, I also removed the links to their website.
Although the user did not provide clear evidence, this is yet another accusation coming against them. Given that this is already the second known accusation, this is only in the form of prevention.

what happened:

I need to mix bitcoins, so I tried to use yomix (https://[banned mixer]/).

because I trust yomix, I did not check step by step the amount of bitcoins sent to me after each mixing, nor did I check one by one through the blockchain explorer whether I received it Mix Bitcoin (because the yomix website prompts that the sending was successful).

Finally I was surprised to find that the order showed that it was sent successfully, but no Bitcoin was sent to my wallet address (the success deceived my eyes, because at first I thought yomix would not lie to me, but the fact is, after the transaction was completed, the order told me The mix succeeds, the send succeeds, but I don't receive any bitcoins at all).

So I tried submitting multiple tickets to contact order support. It has been 7 days and no one has contacted me and my ticket has not been answered.
The current loss is about US$30,000-40,000.

So, please stay away from this scam site (at least so far my order bitcoins have not been sent to my wallet).

I also hope that yomix can send the funds that originally belong to me after seeing my message, because this is very important to me.

Are those bitcointalk link useful? I think those account are basically all inactive....

Most of them doesn't post since 2023.

While we don't have a privacy/mixer board, we can discuss bitcoin privacy here.

We have only few pages are written in this topic so I am not sure if enough members is interested in doing this, but creating a pool could tell us more.
For me it is a good idea to create new Privacy board but I think there is Privacy Coins board, maybe we can use that to write anything connected with privacy:

This is a further draw back of the mixer ban on Bitcointalk: I saw no scams against them during their promotion days on Bitcointalk, and the few issues raised on their ANN were resolved, and everything was running smoothly; their reputation was on the line, and they were competing against other mixers and ruining their services smoothly. Now they're just here and there, with no admin to hold accountable when anything like this occurs; at least on Bitcointalk, we had someone representing the platform.

From paying thousands of dollars per week for promotion to stealing $30,000 is insane; if this is true, then business must be really bad following the mixer ban on BTT. They lost a lot of publicity.

Most of them doesn't post since 2023.

They can't even write posts on the Bitcointalk forum, only private messages.
But maybe you're right, considering that not a single mixer represents Btt as an official channel of communication anymore. I will remove the links to Bitcointalk ANNs.

btw. Jambler was kicked out of Bitcointalk because it was marked as a mixer, but still, it doesn't belong on this list.  ???

But Jambler is not a mixer and you can't use it directly for mixing, so it makes no sense to add it in mixer list.
Only way Jambler could be added if jambler note would be added next to the currently listed mixers that are partners with Jambler.
Or maybe add a new section that is separate from other mixers, since Jambler is still a good privacy tool.

Jambler should still be safe on Bitcointalk or others if they keep the word about "mixer" under wraps. Some time ago the signature used in Bitcointlak explained that there was an indication of a Mixer, so that is what ultimately led to Jambler being said to be a mixer until finally the signature campaign on Bitcointalk had to be stopped.

You can mix, you just need to request API token from the support team, then you can mix your bitcoins using https://api.jambler.io/ and the mixing fee is 2% + 0.0007 BTC.

Therefore, it can be added under private mixers, and you will find more details about the fees here ----> https://jambler.io/faq.php#faq-2.8

jambler.io can be a public mixer by allowing API tokens to be obtained without needing to contact the support team, or a centralized mixing platform if Partners do not need to connect to https://api.jambler.io/, or a decentralized mixing platform (something like coinJoin ) If liquidity provision were decentralized.

Does it mean we only need theymos validity to know what is a mixer or not. Assuming jambler wasn't kicked out of BTT, they wouldn't have appeared here and now they are kicked out, it is a confirmation that Jambler is a mixer. Lol

With your crazy logic every new service that that comes here and creates a topic in this forum from bitcointalk is a mixer  ::)
Try to get not so deep into the ass of campaign manager that hired your for any filthy jobs to talk bad about other services you never used in your life.

Hi bitcoiners,

I have been using Yo!Mix from the 2022 and everything was great until this time I sent them 2.10 BTC and i have letter og gaurantee, still I didint receive any portion of my order and I tried to open ticket with them no answer and response from them.

Does anyone know if YoMix still in business or they just start to scam people?

Note:

Yes I have proof and transactions history

2.10 BTC is a lot of money to lose - if mixers hadn't been banned from Bitcointalk, I'm sure a scam accusation thread would have been created to warn others about the risks of using Yomix.

I think someone should finally give them negative feedback in bitcointalk forum for scamming people.
I just checked their profile and they still have positive feedback from Poker Player, and no negatives!
Maybe campaign manager who worked with them can help with this also.

It is very unfortunate that we have some mixers that suddenly become offline.
TBH, I'm very curious about this, is this caused by the news of Wasabi and ZkSnack shut down coinjoin service?
Well, I just hope it is just temporary offline. Then, you will add again Tumbler.io and Unijoin.io on the list.  :'(

Cryptomixer.io is back up

But I wouldn't use them due to links with Yomix and a bunch of of sanctioned mixers that icopress showed some time ago.

FWIW, they also updated their warrant canary to today.

It is very possible this could be related to the situation with Samourai and Wasabi. Custodial mixers are known to have used coinjoin services as part of their mixing process.

With these services shutting down, it might disrupt their business until they can find another source of liquidity to mix with or they change their process to not be dependent on third parties. It could also be that they got spooked by the recent arrests and decided to shut down before the same happened to them.

Shutting down without making users and affiliates whole is called an exit scam. It has happened before with the likes of Bitblender.

In the case of users, we don't know if anyone sent coins that have not finished mixing when the sites were brought down.

At least Unijoin was well-ran enough to automatically open affiliate accounts upon creation so that I could withdraw my commission from there, but from both a privacy and business perspective I am definitely not looking at this with enthusiasm.
