The latest news around Ethereum and the possible approval of spot ETFs:
1. the SEC is asking exchanges to update 19b-4 filings for Ethereum ETFs on an expedited basis. Potential issuers also need to approve their S-1 filings before products can begin trading.
2. Galaxy's research director said that the SEC may recognize that Ethereum itself is not a security, while stacked ETH is a security.
3. Open interest in Ethereum futures contracts is $14.83 billion, a record high.
4. CryptoQuant recorded a record demand for Ethereum long positions in the history of trading - $530 000 000 in a matter of minutes.
