Bitcoin Forum / Re: Bitcoin Value Price
« on: November 12, 2018, 12:51:06 PM »
How does bitcoin Value Price work, if the investor and Miners is the reason why is it still not pumping up, or no one whod like to invest on it ? any info guys, please dont be harsh

Because there's no demand at the moment. Investors are reluctant to put their money right now because of several reasons:

[1] still waiting for the ETF decision
[2] many investors got burned already. not willing to risk more money at the moment.

DO you know that even some of the so called politicians have secret investments in Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies that no one may be aware of? I believe this is one of the reasons why some of them have double stand when it comes to taking decisions on the adoption or regulation of cryptocurrency. Some of them are scared of publicly supporting crypto. What do you think?

Then this is just a hearsay. Why are they afraid of? Are they afraid that they're going to be ridiculed? If I'm that politician then I would surely let others know that I have crypto and that I fully support bitcoin. We might get closer to the worldwide adoption if politicians will exposed themselves as supporter of cryptos.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Can altcoins be independent?
« on: September 28, 2018, 01:13:10 AM »
Bitcoin’s value does indeed affect the price of all altcoins since BTC/AltCoin trading pairs are the most commonly used and is usually the standard go to exchange pair on all cryptocurrency exchanges. So can Altcoin break all the relationship from bitcoin and run as a independent currency.

Not at this point. As you have said, trading pairs are based on Bitcoin so its impossible for gets to get away from the shadow of Bitcoin. The only thing in can happen is that Bitcoin died, the price literally goes to zero. But we all know that's impossible so the correlation will continue as long as bitcoin exist.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Is Bounty hunting a job?
« on: September 28, 2018, 01:03:28 AM »
If you don't have a stable job then you can look at bounty hunting as a source of income. However, its not as stable as others is thinking because how volatile this market is. Besides, you join a bounty and you are paid months after you finished your job, how can you bring food in the table then when you have to wait before you can cash it out?

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Why must crypto be regulated?
« on: September 28, 2018, 12:47:14 AM »
Regulating cryptocurrency is the main focus of the governments in order to stabilize the prices of coins on the market and also check the persons behind the transactions. Regulating cryptocurrency will allow the governments to accept cryptocurrency and announce it legal in most countries. This will cause more potential investors to join crypto yet crypto cannot be much lucrative as it uses to be due to the price stability that might follow the regulation.

Regulations can sort of bring legitimacy to crpyto, but we have to pay the price - taxes. I have no problem paying taxes to the government as long as it going to good projects like welfare and infrastructure. But if the taxes are going into the wrong hands, then I wouldn't support regulations with taxes.

Ethereum Forum / Re: What should happen so that the ETH began to grow?
« on: September 28, 2018, 12:12:39 AM »
The past six months have been very difficult for crypto-currency speculators, ETH has been very closely correlated with BTC, and rates have been declining all the time, crypto-currency is very dependent on fundamental news, and what should happen that people believe in the growth of the crypto currency again?

There need to be a lot of solid ICO and not just scammy one. Think about it, the one that brought ETH to its record high are the ICO. But the ironic part is that its the same group that brought its price to its knees. Those project don't bother to hold their ETH, they will immediately liquidate it the moment see that the price is ripe to make a lot of money.

I personally believed that ETH is now a speculative assets like Bitcoin and even though it has a good fundamentals, people are no longer at this project like that.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Bull run happening in October?
« on: September 27, 2018, 11:52:41 PM »
The bull run in 2017 started around this time of the year up until December, is it safe to conclude we might experience the same thing in 2018? Are there any signs we should be expecting it or it's just another wild goose chase?

Past performance doesn't mean anything in this market. 2017 was really different Many FOMO, a lot of newbies thought that this is a quick rich scheme and there are a lot of positive news around. And no, the bull run in 2017 started much earlier. After the 1st Winklevoss ETF rejection which brought the price to < $1K. However, when Japan adopts bitcoin, then the bull starts that ramp up till December.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Bitcoin Price and your Exit price
« on: September 27, 2018, 11:47:28 PM »
There’s been so many FUD all around the space, from people who are mere speculators to those who want to deliberately crash the price so they can buy cheaper. So based on this, what price will BTC get to and this will force you sell, count your loses and exit the space?

3 digit figure. We haven't seen bitcoin price <$1K for more than 2 years now so its going to be a big psychologically thingy for everyone to see that price and might call it a day for bitcoin. Fortunately, it won't be possible as there's too much at stake already. Investors and speculators won't allow the price of 1 BTC = < $1K.

We all know that Ethereum has the fundamentals. So its just a matter of time before we can see it back to $500's or up. If Bitcoin will start a bull run I have no doubt that Ethereum will go with it as well. 2019 will be a welcoming year for everyone and I hope that this is the start of the price recovery for all the coins not just Ethereum.

Cryptocurrency Price Speculations / Re: Ethereum still looks good
« on: September 26, 2018, 07:14:16 AM »
Ethereum price at this moment is $227.10 still looks good. But in case ethereum drops to $150 it would be a massive downfall and yet the doomed wouldn't come for ethereum can recover when the proper time comes.

Yes I always believe ethereum will exist for along time, ethereum still looks good. It will be more stable at the future.

Exactly, Ethereum has a bright future. Perhaps this is just a good lesson for us. I'm sure that everyone hasn't seen a bearish market so we need to be flexible and make necessary adjustments. Not just for Ethereum but for the rest of the crypto sphere.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: How does BTC price affect other crypto?
« on: September 25, 2018, 02:00:00 AM »
Its because almost all trading pairs are based on Bitcoin. ETH/BTC, XMR/BTC. So there's a lot of impact on altcoins pricing. So its really hard not to be dependent on it unless BTC no longer considered as top coins.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Bitcoin mining ?
« on: September 25, 2018, 12:58:14 AM »
Right. Its no longer applicable to solo mine bitcoin today because of the difficulty plus the expensive hardware gear you need and the cost of electricity. And then you have to compete with big companies like Bitmain and Canaan. And in the next 2 years, bitcoin halving will occur pushing the difficulty much higher.

Also interesting though that Lubin doesn't agree with Buterin:

Quote

Joseph Lubin: I Disagree on That. There’s so Much Growth Ahead

However, it seems that Lublin, despite sharing similar visions, disagrees with Vitalik Buterin on this point. When Miss Chatterley asked him what he thought about these statements, Mr. Lublin commented that although he respected these statements, he did not share them:

“Vitalik is brilliant, but I would have to disagree with him on that. This is a technology that’s going to impact how economic, social and political systems are built over the next few decades. So we’re really just at the start of this. There will be so much evolution.

The technology is still relatively immature. But there’s going to be so much evolution in this space, and everything that’s an asset right now is probably going to have representation as a crypto asset at some point in the future. So there’s just so much growth ahead.”

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Bitcoin is reducing unemployment
« on: September 23, 2018, 11:44:12 PM »
Bitcoin and other currencies are reducing the rate of unemployment with bounty hunting, cryptocurrency trading, mining , crypto investment and much more.

Share you thought

Well it has given a lot of people a chance to earn by joining bounties and trading but I don't see a big dent on the unemployment rate to least say a certain country. Remember that crypto hasn't been adopted yet. There's a lot of nation hostile to crypto and country who accept it has like less than 1% of its population engaging themselves in crypto activity.
