I really don't understand why many people hate Bitcoin cash, it's faster than bictoin with low transaction fees. It doesn't want to replace Bitcoin but I think it's a really valid coin

CTOR is part of a comprehensive technical roadmap designed to help Bitcoin Cash become peer to peer electronic cash for the entire world. More specifically, there is a clear and major benefit in CTOR which is that of faster block propagation. There are also some additional minor benefits.

Unfortunately, much of the technical discussion about CTOR has been in the area of block validation rather than block propagation, which has brought considerable complexity and confusion to the overall debate.

Do bitcoins cash can have 2.2 million transactions per second? Incredible. And how do supporters of the original bitcoin with his seven transactions per second look at this?
If the original bitcoin is not improved for some time, it can be sent to the museum as an ancient artifact.

Over 2 million Transactions Completed
Stressing a cryptocurrency network can usually incur some delays and issues along the way. In the case of the 2018 BCH Stress Test Day, over 2.2 million transactions were executed without any problem whatsoever. This is primarily achieved because of the project’s different approach to scaling, which makes it very different from Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies on the market today.

Over the last few months, a few bitcoin cash proponents have been spreading a lot of BCH adoption in the North Queensland region in Australia. North Queensland is a very large area with its own distinctive regional character within the massive state of Queensland. Anyone who frequents the Reddit forum r/btc, have probably noticed many posts showing BCH adoption taking place in the region.

North Queensland has its own Bitcoin Cash meetup, it’s home to the country’s first BCH-only automated teller machine, and right now the area has a lot of BCH accepting merchants. This week, using the mobile application Marco Coino, BCH fans have noticed that merchants in the state of Queensland now total 73 businesses with 33 merchants in the northern territory.

Over the past few weeks, Bitcoin Cash supporters have been debating the upcoming hard fork scheduled for November 15th of this year. Most of the community understands, that as of right now, there are two camps that have entirely different visions. It doesn’t seem like a compromise is coming any time soon. Lately, as each day passes and as time draws closer to the upgrade, both disagreeing parties have been testing certain features and publishing various papers concerning the theoretical effects of specific upgrade additions.

Why Bitcoin Cash is not Fiat currency
This is why bitcoin cash, or any other crypto, is not fiat. It is not decreed or authorized by government. It is not “legal tender.” It is possible that a digital currency can eventually be decreed, but then it is likely the “cryptocurrency” in question will not be cryptocurrency in the traditional sense.

Bitcoincashtalk.org: Another Uncensored Forum for Bitcoin Proponents to Freely Discuss and Debate This Innovative Technology
A Censorship-Free Version of Bitcointalk? Developer Launches Bitcoincashtalk.orgWhen it comes to cryptocurrencies enthusiasts like to discuss the technology regularly on social media and forums. Nearly every digital asset has its own forum but over the last few years, two of the largest Bitcoin-based forums (coincidentally owned by the same individual) have been plagued with censorship in regard to the scaling debate. For instance, thousands of users have been banned on the Reddit forum r/bitcoin and the web portal Bitcointalk.org for merely speaking about a different opinion concerning scaling the Bitcoin Network. Then thousands of Reddit users and Bitcointalk.org users have also been banned for failing to toe the party line.

There’s a lot of discussion concerning the Bitcoin Cash (BCH) network hard fork coming this November. One of the topics is an implementation called OP_Checkdatasig (CDS) that’s been added to the Bitcoin ABC clients’ roadmap and codebase. Basically, CDS is an opcode that could theoretically enhance the BCH protocol’s scripting ability. When Satoshi created bitcoin, the software included a scripting system much like the programmable language Forth. In addition to the scripting, the codebase also included script words otherwise known as ‘opcodes.’ There are quite a few opcodes and all of them do various commands or binary functions but most of them were disabled long ago.

There are only a few exchanges that offer bitcoin cash trading pairs so traders can trade BCH with various digital assets. At the moment BCH proponents can use trading platforms like Coinex, and Panda Exchange for bitcoin cash trading markets. Now the 20-year old Semyon Germanovich and his #DevelopmentTeam  from Shoreditch, London are launching the Voltaire.cash exchange and the platform will provide BCH denominated pairs. The Voltaire team says the company’s key focus will be dedicated to security and transparency. Further, the exchange also claims they have hired consultants from one of the Big Four firms. the first iteration of Voltaire will support BTC/BCH pairs and then shortly after follow with ethereum and dogecoin against BCH.

hop13, a member of the cryptocurrency subreddit platform r/BTC posted about creating a bridge between Bitcoin Cash [BCH] and Ethereum Classic [ETC] via a cross-chain system. The post was titled ‘Working Cross-Chain Bridge: Pay in BCH – Receive Ethereum Classic Dividend token in return’.
In the blockchain space, a cross-chain transaction is the one that provides the facility for two different cryptocurrencies to be transacted in a single system. For instance, one can send Bitcoin Cash and receive another cryptocurrency in return. The Reddit user, hp13, who initiated the BCH-ETC cross-chain experiment also instructed the community to possess an ETC wallet known as Saturn Wallet. Disabling Metamask on the wallet was also part of the instruction.

Secondly, hop13 encouraged the community to donate an amount in Bitcoin Cash to test the performance of the system built by the techie. On sending BCH, the donor was said to receive a token in return after the recipient confirms the donation. The total time set for the whole task to be done was stated to be around 15 minutes.

Bitdb 2.0 Provides a Bitcoin Cash Powered Database for Mongo-DB
A few months ago the software developer Unwriter launched a program called Bitdb 1.0. The program basically works as an autonomous database that can crawl, index, and query the blockchain for every op-return transaction. So essentially Bitdb takes the transaction and files it in a structured document and stores the end result in Mongo-DB. This allows anyone to utilize this data to help them build custom Bitcoin Cash-powered applications. So far a bunch of platforms has used Bitdb such as Memopay, Simpleledger.cash, Bookchain.cash, Matter.cash, and more. But this week Unwriter details after building Bitdb 1.0 it was just the start of something much bigger.

Bitmain has acquired a Telescope startup that has created a Bitcoin Cash wallet.

BCH-wallet was first introduced this year. Telescope is currently available in the Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox browsers. In the future, the company intends to expand the list of supported browsers.

The wallet is supported by BitPay and moneybutton.com. Cryptographic keys are stored in the browser extension and are signed on the user side. According to representatives of the project, this approach provides a high level of security.

As it is stated by the representatives, Telescope brings a “simple but key innovation” to the Bitcoin Cash ecosystem.

Bitmain owns approximately 6% of the total Bitcoin Cash. The investment policy of the Chinese giant is perceived in the crypto community ambiguously. So, in August it became known that because of the large share of BCH in the company's portfolio and the deep drawdown of the price of this asset, Bitmain suffered significant losses.

Bitcoin cash has managed to pass around 2.55 million transactions in 24 hours. BCH is gradually becoming an ideal medium of exchange that guarantees affordable payments.

There are several developers working on BCH projects like Bitcoin Unlimited, Bitprim, Nchain, Bitcrust, ElectrumX, Parity and Bitcoin XT. These projects will improve the performance of BCH.

BCH might go out for global adoption by mainstream users and provide a solid foundation that businesses can rely on.

In addition to the wallet support, the Bitcoin Cash community is also planning on testing a beta Telegram tipping bot — Tipmebchbot, which enables Telegram users to tip other users using BCH.

BCH's future performance will most likely be linked to that of bitcoin's performance. BCH is able to trade on bitcoin’s past successes and credibility in the cryptocurrency world. The progress of BCH over BTC can be seen on the bch to btc exchange (http://seo abuse/bitcoin-cash/bitcoin-cash-to-bitcoin) graph.

The goals of Bitcoin include constant updates to achieve goals of becoming both a faster form of digital cash, and a platform with other features such as smart contracts and oracles. The November 15 hard fork and preliminary updates are likely to not be the last for BCH.But this time, the update hardly caused the market price to recover. Bitcoin Cash team has won $6 million in CoinGeek' competition to develop Tokenized protocol. Now you can create a smart contract based on a BCH blockchain network.

Such assets, as futures, derivatives, currencies, loyalty schemes, even tickets to cinema can be tokenized on BCH. The Tokenized white paper, protocol specification, and smart contract code will be released for public preview in mid-November.

The Tokenized system does not require any new OP codes codes or other protocol changes.  It is an on-chain solution and does not create a separate token layer. Equally, ‘Tokenized’ does not require ‘burning’ BCH coins to create tokens which simply disturbs the Bitcoin system.

Six of the top 10 crypto top Exchange bitcoin cash trading volumes (BCH) have announced plans to support the upcoming cryptocurrency hard on November 15.

The Bitcoin Cash roadmap includes upgrades to its core code every six months, but disagreement over some changes to the network has increased the specter that two different branches of the cryptocurrency can form, given that two implementations - Bitcoin ABC and Bitcoin SV - are being put forward with competing teams . Although the results are not clear, one scenario will see two separate cryptocurrency appearing from Hard Fork.

Because the user will automatically receive the number of new coins equal to the amount stored in the BCH, it is important that their exchange be prepared for the event and will later allocate the new token.

A number of exchanges have now clarified their position in the event of a split, with OKEx, Binance, Bitforex and Huobi all stating that they will "support hard fork." Poloniex, a rank 51 exchange for BCH, stated more explicitly that "it is ready to support the trading market for both tokens."

Coinbase is more reserved, saying it will support the current roadmap, but adds:

In preparation for the event, most exchanges have said they will suspend bitcoin cash withdrawals and deposits immediately before HF to ensure customer funds are not at risk due to instability of the post-HF network (s). Users must be careful not to deposit BCH during this period in such cases.

And it's not just an exchange that has to make a decision on the potential for the creation of new coins. The French-based hardware wallet maker Ledger said that, if the HF results were blocked by a separate bitcoin cash, "finally, one of these will be the dominant chain, which we will evaluate to support it again."

It should be noted that Bitmex recently launched an HF monitor for bitcoin and bitcoin cash. BCH hard fork will begin on November 15 around 17:00 UTC.

According to global statistics provided by Coinatmradar.com, there are now close to 4,000 cryptocurrency automated teller machines (ATMs). Moreover, there’s been a huge influx of bitcoin cash ATMs over the past year as there are now 1,200 BCH dispensing devices located around the world.

In  November, data from Coinatmradar.com shows the metric will likely reach 4,000 ATMs very soon as the current number of ATMs is 3,993 machines worldwide. Additionally, there are 141,000 ATM-like services that sell cryptocurrencies through mobile payment terminals, vouchers, and even traditional bank ATMs. 1,200 machines out of the world’s 4,000 units allow users to purchase and sell the decentralized currency bitcoin cash.

Hello B-Casher!
I want to ask for this, because this project has many pros and cons in the world of cryptocurrency.

See how Roger Ver from Bitcoin Cash supports the AZBIt project as an advisor, is that true?

Bitcoin Cash Developers Launch Beta Version of Bchd Client Written in GolangThe Bitcoin Cash community has been introduced to a full node client written in the Golang (Go) programming language called Bchd. The new Golang implementation was originally built by Chris Pacia, the developer of the peer-to-peer marketplace Openbazaar. However, nine other developers stepped up and helped the programmer finish the beta release. Bchd is a fork of the Btcd protocol library and the client’s contributors have explained they waited until after the Nov. 15 fork to release the beta version. Even so, the developers ran the Bchd client throughout the upgrade and detailed that the implementation “operated incredibly smooth right through the fork.”

I don't know about this but the effects of the two sides' cracking from BitcoinCash made it all dump.
It's going to be chaotic and there are many people who speak out loud in the telegram group, what is BitcoinCash doing?

The Bchd developers who recently introduced a full node Bitcoin Cash client written in Go have also ported the neutrino backend to their codebase. For the first time, this gives BCH users access to the experimental wallet, which focuses on strong network-level privacy.

Network privacy refers to limiting the information that the wallet sends to its peers, as well as the servers to which it connects. “Prior to neutrino there was not a single lightweight wallet available on the market that does not disclose all the addresses in your wallet and your entire transaction history to a third party,” the Bchd team explained. Even when using Tor, it is technically possible for trading partners to link an individual to an address, they cautioned. However, neutrino utilizes a “client side filtering” approach, which enables wallets to avoid disclosing the addresses they contain to connected peers.

It’s been close to a week since the fork on Nov. 15 and the ongoing hash war has caused major debate and mixed emotions. According to Coin Dance statistics, https://cash.coin.dance/ there have been 852 blocks mined since the consensus rules changed and the ABC chain is six blocks ahead. Further, the owners of Coin Dance have deemed the ABC chain as the winner of the BCH name and now refer to the chain as Bitcoin Cash (BCH). Statistics also show that BCH has 44% more proof-of-work (PoW) than the BSV network. At the time of publication, both chains have roughly 4,000 PH/s or 4 exahash worth of hashrate apiece. However, this metric has fluctuated wildly and the averages are harder to gauge over a short period of time.

It's interesting, as now from Coin Dance, last I checked at least, BCH and BSV were neck and neck on hash rate and block height, while ABC (& co) somewhat ahead on POW. But now it seems that since CMC listed ABC as BCH then nobody cares about the hash war anymore, apart from Craig and Rodger I think.

Bitcoin Cash development has grown significantly since the hard fork last May, which increased the block size and added new opcodes. One initiative that has made its debut this year is the Bitcoinfiles.com project developed by the BCH programmers James Cramer, Attila Aros, and Hapticpilot. The file-sharing platform allows anyone to upload media files backed by the IPFS protocol and the Bitcoin Cash blockchain. These features add a thick layer of censorship-resistance to content uploads as the files become a permanent fixture on the open web.
BCH developer Chris Troutner detailed on Twitter how excited he was to see the Bitcoin Files project integrate the IPFS protocol. While explaining the process, Troutner confirmed that “uploads are working and downloads are on the way.” Additionally, the developer shared information about the file he uploaded as a test. The Bitcoin File URI led to a Bitdb network entry and the file is also accessible through the IPFS gateway. Troutner’s message further explained that the hash to retrieve the file is stored forever on the Bitcoin Cash blockchain.

maybe other Bitcoin Cash wallet clients will have a protocol level change that is incompatible with Bitcoin ABC, which is a BCH wallet that is currently installed by default and recent events show that planned hard fork upgrades to Bitcoin Cash can be debated

the Bitcoin Cash (BCH) community has been talking fervently about zero-confirmation transactions and a new pre-consensus mechanism called Avalanche. On Monday, Openbazaar developer Chris Pacia published a comprehensive description of the pre-consensus protocol that could theoretically bolster secure zero-confirmation BCH transactions.
Avalanche is a new consensus protocol that was first introduced earlier this year — It provides a novel way for nodes on a network to choose between two conflicting transactions and come to a consensus about which one should be included in the next block,” explained Pacia.

Openbazaar and Bchd developer, Chris Pacia, revealed a new Bchd project feature currently in the making that would allow for Bitcoin Cash-based bi-directional payment channels. Moreover, in contrast to the Lightning Network, the Bchd developers explained that the team has created an overlay network based on the Inter-Planetary File System (IPFS).
The Bchd developer Chris Pacia has published a Medium post explaining a new bi-directional payment channel protocol for the Bitcoin Cash (BCH) network which they hope will be complete by early next year. https://medium.com/@bchd.cash/bitcoin-cash-overlay-network-22160011f7ee it is good progress of bitcoin cash

Last October, Bitcoin Cash (BCH) proponent and developer, Jonathan Silverblood, told the BCH community about a new identification system he developed that ties a custom human-readable alias to a bitcoin cash address. Silverblood has launched a beta version of the platform Cashaccount.info so visitors can test out the platform’s functionality and give the developer feedback. On the 10-year anniversary of the Bitcoin Genesis block, all beta account names will be invalid when the system finalizes on January 3rd.

Bitcoinmap.cash Helps You Find Places to Spend BCH

An application called Bitcoinmap.cash lists locations where decentralized digital currencies such as bitcoin cash can be spent directly. It provides information about hundreds of restaurants, bars, hotels, and stores around the world that accept electronic cash without intermediaries.

The Bitcoinmap.cash platform, a community project open to new participants and developers, has a web-based version and a mobile app for Android devices. All the venues displayed on its map accept bitcoin cash (BCH) or dash, while some of the shops also take bitcoin core (BTC). Many of these places – such as the Cara B Cafe-Bar in downtown Barcelona or the La Sirene Soho Restaurant in New York – offer discounts of up to 20 percent on the first BCH payment you make

The people behind Bitcoinmap.cash believe anyone who is holding cryptocurrency should support the growth of its value by actively promoting and spending it. “The only reason why Bitcoin has any value is because we can use it for payments. If we don’t use it for real world p2p payments it will never reach its potential,” proclaims the app’s Google Play store page.
