some researches have papers about people taking selfies because of some mental disorders.
I think it depends on the selfie. I like selfies, i think it is fun too.

I think that people who like to take selfies and post on social media are attention seekers, but don't get me wrong attention seeker might be good and bad and we must see their purpose in doing that.

many people for fun and many people for seeking attention and then come the iPhone users who take selfie with the back camera    in the mirror  ;D

Aside from being fun, selfie also is like a mirror that give us idea the things that we need to improve in  our self.
