Great job buddy, those guys often shit their announcement thread with alt accounts to get some attention but they don't understand that newbie accounts aren't trusted by anyone and even if the continue shilling the thread it won't give them desired results.
It's probably an old technique to use the SEO power of the host (forum in this case) as a result when someone searches for a certain service and gets a lot of positive feedback. It can be difficult for someone from the outside to distinguish fake from real comments because they probably don't understand the hierarchy of the forum.

I this is not just SEO. It will also create fake reviews , giving a false authority to the service which isn't well established yet.

A good company could hire a campaign manager to properly handle the community

I always find it very good to listen to Antonopoulos.

It had been a while since I heard anything from him, and today I came across this very cool video that I watched again

Five pillars of open blockchains
eature=shared

In the part about censorship resistance, he drops this gem:

Quote
Maybe in a few years, we will come to the conclusion that we should separate money from the state for the same reason we separated the church from the state

Criptomoedas surpreendem e chegam a a 4%, mais do que investimentos tradicionais como tesouro direto e bolsa de valores.

Anyone faced this issue?, probably I faced this couple of times already and I decided to report cause this is actually due to bug since I am not logged in at the moment on any other device nor connected via proxy network.

Is this due to also increase in the traffic?

I face this sometimes too.
Sometimes I didn't made any post in the last hour and I still get this error.. quite annoying if you lose your text...

Bitcoin Forum / Re: The anti-mixer arm of Congress
« on: Today at 03:25:03 PM »
BTC mixing is a serious problem in this market and we still haven't found the most appropriate way to view them. Many people support Mixers because they care about anonymity, but many others also oppose Mixers because Mixers can be exploited by criminals. Personally, I just want BTC to be more widely accepted, which means BTC needs to comply with anti-money laundering laws. I don't want BTC to be delisted from CEXs like many other privacy coins in the market.

I think that mixers aren't the problem, but the criminals who use them (with are just a small part of their users).

Sadly, privacy is becoming harder and harder to achieve just because this anti money laundry war doesn't care about citizens rights for privacy.

So DO NOT use crypto exchange URLs from the deep web. Only use the ones from this forum, Bitcointalk, or kycnot.me.

This is always a good security procedure.
Double check with their social media profile (or forum profile) every URL of the services you are going to send money to.

Clearly, coins with a history with a casino or mixer aren't a problem if they're the user's only red flag, but if other flags are present, they'll use this as a pretext to justify asking for the origin of the funds.
As things stand, it would be best if the feds confiscate all the coins at some point, after that all the coins will be clean. After their "mixing", there is no need to look into the earlier history of the coin.  ::)

Exchanging coins to usdt I think is always safe.
All usdt are supposedly clean

Because I believe that there are alot of campaigns waiting at there , expecially mixers campaigns waiting at there to see this forum grow more and more, before taking action in promoting here.  And for the forum to grow in such way it depends on the users here. so please let's try our best to keep improving this forum.

I don't think campaigns are just waiting for activity here to grow.

The main reason campaigns exists in bitcointalk is because of bitcointalk SEO authority.

Topics in BTT really get high ranked in Google, while topics here don't.

There might be a lot of reasons for that  , from technical to post quality

Suggestion Box / Re: [Sugestion] Old Posts Remove

@msz900, deleting those posts would only create problems. Firstly, the current activity of many users would be reduced and they could have problems with the rank they have right now, that could cause errors in the forum and it is possible (I'm not entirely sure) that many users will be demoted to lower ranks.
Maybe in the future posts in the bounty section should be exempted from activity and forum ranking. Such posts have a really small contribution to the forum, for example, a user who reaches legendary rank, where 99% of posts are bounty reports. It should not be the same as sr. member who wrote quality posts.

For now, those sections appear in the top while 'quality posts" appear in the bottom of the forum's main page..

Forum related / Re: Why is this common here.
« on: May 11, 2024, 03:48:33 PM »

Even forum members who teleported their accounts from bitcointalk and did not write like that there, do so in this forum.

This forum lacks interaction compared to bitcointalk,  where we can see lots of people creating new accounts to ask a question for example.

I think this a way to kindly ask members to engage in the discussion

They are obviously not doing anything manually.
Analytics software used by them is complicated and it is checking all connections, not just ones that are previously made.
I think this is all crap,it is not exact science, and it's dangerous for Bitcoin.

They can't check everything (all coin history). They would block a lot of people who doenst even know what mixers are  , and probably even block coins that came from another cex. Mixers exist for a long time  and the amount of coins whi has ever been in casinos or mixers is enormous.

I'm not even sure if every satoshi in my account has ever been associated with Mixers in the past few years 8)

It is very likely that most of your satoshis have been in a mixer at some point.

Exchanges can't check the complete history of  every sat. They will probably check the past 3-6 transactions...

You could just make a few hops inside your own wallet , or even exchange them for another coin in a swap service if you are very  paranoid.

Suggestion Box / Re: [Sugestion] Old Posts Remove

Greetings,

I have noticed that a huge amount of Posts from the Bounty Board is available and there are no use of it. So to speed up the Forum, it is suggested to review and remove the old posts, like atleast older then 2020. From 2020 - Till Now, is more then enough for all the users to check previous data.

I don't think that deleting will increase forum performance

Additionally, they might be an useful reference of users behavior and posting habits...
It could also have some seo effect.
