I have been on bitcointalk since 2016 . I have heard about this forum before. I actually had an account here from the beginning but never really used it. but recently started using it and I noticed it has very good userbase and a lot of active people.
there are so many bounty programs and signature campaigns (which are the reason of bitcointalk's insane popularity) so I think 2nd 1 million target would be easily achieved from now. since we have more users and more daily postings.

Congratulations for this achievement first , and second i think this forum is the first competitor of bitcoin talk and i wont be surprised if we got the first place in the next two years , but only with high quality posts because posting shitty and low quality posts is nonsense according to my opinion..

Right, I agree with your opinion mate. Our forum has grown into a community known to many people, many newbies have joined, they will be the next people who will be active in discussion here. I hope the traffic of our forum will increase from time to time ;)

I think it is possible but only if teleported and everyone of us in this forum are not just active because of bounty but by giving contribution to every topic created by our fellow members here specially to the topic created by the newbies.
We need everyone, teleported and non-teleported, to keep up with quality posts, with good bounties and new ideas, so we'll get that new million sooner than expected. We need promotion, social networks are a very good tool for that, but from what I see the official forum account is not very active, at least in Twitter.

the demand of high quality posts would automatically force them to make high quality posts. it's the responsibility of managers to not allow shit posters and only accept high quality posters and real contributors. that's the only way everyone coming here for joining bounties start playing is role to build this community.
@ Malam90 since December 31 I am making a list with the daily posts to try to get an average, and the data is not very good as you know, the average is approximately 1,000 daily. On December 31 at 7:00 p.m. there were 1,004,009 posts. Everyone can do the math.

Yes @Bolopecah, we need to triple the numbers I listed in my last post. We must look for forms of promotion that have not yet been exploited, such as the official social media accounts of the forum, for example.

Then there were only one Forum but now there are a lot of crypto forums. By competing with other forums, as a new forum, Altcoinstalks is still on right track. We can set our next 1M posts target within 2021 which is possible. Just we need 3k posts average on every day. Do you agree with me?I agree. Though I just joined Altcointalks from no other CT, I have seen some impressive statistics and I am quite amazed. Approximately 10k new registration per month is quite huge and along it will definitely bring new excellent members around, creating quality topics and discussions which will move it forward. 1M posts target during this year is very much achievable but more importantly, I feel the number shouldn't be what should be the focus but quality all along.

Thanks for update. But this statistics shows that there is not increase the number of posts. It remains as usual. New members are coming but number of active members aren't increasing as per expectations.
I agree with you. If we do our job seriously and help the newbies to make a post then we will soon reach our target. We have to be careful that every new member which has joined the forum does not leave the forum because he has done mistakes. We have to teach them how to work in this forum or what are the rules of the forum.

Altcoinstalks is a friendly forum, we try to do our best for every newbie and our rules are not so complicated as well. ;)
I definitely think it's possible, because most users now use altcointalks due to its friendly interface when compared to its counterpart. So, 1M is achievable.

In this thread we talk about the possibility of reaching 1 million more posts in 2021, but that will not be possible as 2021 is almost coming to an end. December 31, 2020, there were a total of 1,004,009 posts, and now there are 1,212,992, although there are still several weeks to finish this year, it is not possible to reach that amount. To reach 1 million posts per year, an average of 3,000 posts per day would be needed.
Well, there is a good saying: buying less but buying better. Quality is more important than quantity in this case, so no need of reaching big amount of posts in a short period, better to have more interesting ideas and wider community IMHO. :)
