Signature Campaigns / Re: Winz.io Sig and Avatar campaign(1 spot open)
« on: March 22, 2024, 06:10:39 PM »
Winz is just testing this forum and sent money for a 1 month campaign.
Nice move by Winz. It is also important that Winz should understand that this forum might not give them an immediate result in the short run, but on the long run we are sure of nice exposure . The Winz brand is sinking in the minds of many already .

It seems the mixtum signature is also not aligned.  The Premium Bitcoin Mixer is out of alignment.

Suggestion Box / Re: Global mods
« on: March 17, 2024, 11:29:36 PM »

Thus, the administrator devotes himself to the back-end, while Global Mods can make modifications to the general appearance of the forum, such as moving topics, creating new boards, closing old boards, and other things that lead to organizing the forum better and faster.
I think the above listed tasks cannot and has not been performed by the admin alone. He must have delegated some of the moderators.  What we don't actually know is how things work, but however it works, it needs more hands as here is rapidly developing both in trafic and in quality.

Congratulations yahoo62278 and winz team for being here.

Not completing all terms will result in not getting paid. Not getting enough posts, not getting merit, getting neg trust during campaign, erc.
The Merit you meant here is +karma I think and also neg trust is -karma. It seems am late to the party but I'll still give a shot.

Features:
- Mention/quote notification
- Track Phrase
- Track user posts
- Track boards
- Track replies in a topic/thread
- Ignore users
- Karma notification
- Stop notification/unsubscribe
Is there an option to ignore users in this forum? I am not seeing it from my own end. Although I have no one to ignore for now but I know the need will arise in the future when I'm steady here.
Wehdone PX-Z for this masterpiece.  It will be so tedious to navigate this forum without enhanced notifications.

Suggestion Box / Re: Op tag for the author of a thread.
« on: February 05, 2024, 03:47:36 PM »
It's not the top priority for the admin but it's still a good addition to the forum. Why don't you add poll to the thread and let the admin know the interest from members? Needless to say, my vote would be a Yes.
Thanks for your positive affirmation.  Can I be able to add poll to a post when I have already published it?

Suggestion Box / Op tag for the author of a thread.
« on: February 02, 2024, 10:42:40 PM »
For those coming from the bitcointalk background, with only the thread title, you should be able to understand what I meant. Although this feature was recently implemented in bitcointalk. But it is a good feature that will make anyone track the author of a particular thread even after the first page in the ongoing conversation. This is important because as conversation ensures,  you would be willing to track the opinion of the topic creator to see if the purpose of the thread is met or defeated. So, at every time the topic creator drops a comment in the thread they created, it should have the OP tag beside the username of the OP as shown in the image below.

The emphasis in the picture is the OP. I deliberately included the avatar of yahoo62278 here to give him a fee less promotion.

I had admired these avatars from BTT days, waiting if I can have the opportunity to wear it for a longer time here. I'm waiting for the signature code.

@Op, I don't there's a bit of a problem.  If you really want to join in their communication, you can message admin and pass KYC as a woman, you will have access to that thread. Atleast you have nothing to lose because there's no restrictions for women in the forum.

You got +karma from me for this  ;)
I didn't recognize Agbe as a woman before, but now I'm thinking about editing my Vote post for Bitcointalk awards and nominating Agbe as "Miss Bitcointalk".  :D
LOL... Let's leave Agbe , by next year when his transgender surgery is completed,  we will vote her for Miss bitcointalk.  But don't be surprised when you see your name in the category of "the event of the yeat" :D

@Agbe never confirmed to be a female, I’ve gone over the replies again and again but didn’t find anywhere he stated it [I’d appreciate if you point me to it, if perhaps I missed it].

In my local language “Agbe” is a male given name - but since this is a virtual space any one can pretend to be male or female unless they complete their kyc verification to proof otherwise.

Since I’ve always taken @Agbe to be a man, I’ll keep on doing that unless he actually goes through with the kyc.

Relax.
I intentionally put two smileys in the previous comment. I thought that was enough to indicate the seriousness of the statement, although rby really got +karma from me. That part was real.
Most times people are so serious that they miss the whole fun of life. I wonder why Cantsay didn't figure out the sarcastic nature of your post. As for the karma, I go it and I am happy to enjoy it while it last, before the admin will introduce karma sources  LOL.

Forum related / Re: The growth is rapid.

Few minutes ago, I counted about 7 signature campaigns running in the service board and we are still in January.  Who knows what the future has for the forum, great things right?

I believe that the number of signature campaigns is not a measure of the growth of a site or forum... It can only be one of the causes.

But in the case of altcoinstalk,  the number of signature campaigns is a measure of growth of the forum and even in the BTT. You can only say the above if no signature campaign is conducted here from onset. We are active here because of the mixers signature campaigns. There's no need to live in denial of this in this early stage.

Next, maybe I will try to lobby all Bounty Managers from various forums to be able to present a campaign on altcoinstlaks. :)
I have to try to be better for the altcoinstalks forum.
LOL... this is the best idea to continue to help this forum. But I am scared that apart from BTT, there are no much of such forums that run Campaigns.

why do people panic and sell their coins throw some light on this topic and share your opinion
It is not everyone that panics and sell their coin when bitcoin price is down. There are categories of people who do that;
  • Newbies with no knowledge on how the market works
  • People who invested with the money they'll need by next week
  • Those still under the shackles of FUD
Without these, there's no good reason to sell bitcoin at loss because it has a proven record of recovery.

The speed at which Altcoinstalks.com is evolving should be of a great concern.  I mean it is a positive change and it should be embraced. This is a good motivation to always prepare and wait for an opportunity because anything can happen in the next minute.  It is better to prepare and opportunity didn't come than for an opportunity to meet you unprepared.
