Guys things have been bubbling hot on the side of memecoins lately and I couldn't help but notice that its mostly solana coins that are taking the show. We had $BOME which actually did perform well shortly after its listing and today the much talked about $SLERF meme coin also went live on cex.
I just got off a space hosted by SLERF on X (Twitter) and you wouldn't believe what it was about...the founder accidentally burnt a significant amount of Lp and airdrop reserved tokens.
while this is quite unfortunate for early investors, I am of the opinion that this single mistake has successfully brought about fairness to later investors. I guess I'm being a little bit biased on this matter even though there were others who were present on the space who think the same as me.
This incident hasn't affected the perfomance of the token negatively tho as more investors are currently trooping in.

The story of Slerf is a tale of redemption. Initially, a mishap led to the accidental burning of half the token supply, including presale tokens. However, whales are now showing significant interest, bidding on the tokens extensively. Moreover, there's already support from top cex to donate trading fees to facilitate the presale refund. Crypto is indeed love 😘

Indeed, memes on the Solana network always steal attention every season, there are lots of fans of this Solana memecoin, and it often becomes a new hype.
It is indeed a very rare event for Slerf to experience, but it seems that is what has attracted many enthusiasts to it. Yes, they use this to make a profit, even though this is quite unfortunate for early investors, they also get the positive side too.

It is definitely stealing the spotlight. It has been seen that there are some coins that are being produced and probably would get the spotlight in something. I don't know what the recipe for them is but I see a lot of people producing meme coins and it's just PnD. It's hard to really predict a coin.
Has it been listed with tier one exchanges?

- I just noticed recently that most of the meme coins that become the hottest sit in the market are always seen most of the time on the Solana network, to be honest. It seems that there are many people who are suddenly rich who make meme coins so that even if they spend money, they know that they will get back the money they spent in less than 24 hours.
I just observed this on the Dexscreener platforms; I just don't know if others also notice what is meant by this matter. If you observe the meme coins that are listed in the dexscreener, in fact.

Well, Solana meme coins are not just stealing the spotlight, they acuallt stole the spotlight, but then, personally, I think every chain will have its time, and this is the time for the Sol chain, soon enough, attention is gonna shift from Sol chain to focus on another chain, and that other chain may either be Base, or TON blockchain, or Avax
Though currently, I think Ton blockchain stand the highest chance of being the next focus after Solana, then followed by Base chain, or maybe this two can trend at the same time or period.
Overall, I think meme coins have proven that they are a niche in the crypto market that can and shouldnt be overlooked, meme coins have contributed significantly to the success of Solana, and I don't think we have seen the end yet.
