Firstly I always recommend To used hardware wallet to store your litecoin or any other Crypto currency .

Offline storage wallets are always best to hold cryptocurrencies so my opinion exchange wallets and other online wallets are not best idea for long term storage because we may face many problems in future so just buy a hardware wallet and keep hold your digital assets for long-term .
