Title: Testing Bitcoin: The Elon Power
Post by: TomPluz on May 17, 2021, 07:41:03 AM

Just recently, Elon Musk drop a big bomb to the Bitcoin community by announcing that Tesla is going to stop accepting BTC as payment for their cars but will be keeping the Bitcoin they stashed for some reasons known to them. And now, we have the suggestion that eventually Tesla will be selling BTC at the appropriate time.

In other words, Elon has now decided to make a big U-turn with his support for Bitcoin and is gonna instead concentrate on developing Dogecoin as his pet cryptocurrency.

This is certainly a big but not really critical test for Bitcoin on how the market can be reacting to this barrage of "bad news" coming from a man who has influenced a lot of the recent rise of BTC.

Now that we can really say that officially Mr. Elon Musk is gone from Bitcoin scene, should we look for another man as a big supporter for Bitcoin or is this idea of associating with specific personalities a bad move for Bitcoin?

If you really need someone as a crypto idol, someone who really supports Bitcoin, then I suggest Michael Saylor
But I don't mean the whole thing seriously, everyone has to see for themselves how they handle crypto.

I truly don't think that this should be a thing with Bitcoin Investing. I understand how these people can help to create confidence in the market by either their analysis and statements but it is in the same way they can also influence the market negatively so I say let the system be organic.

I think we should stop hyping this kind of pronouncement from Elon Musk, I consider it as nonsense speculation. because I believe that with or without Tesla and Elon Musk Bitcoin and other useful cryptocurrencies are here to survive, I don't think that the thousands or millions of traders/ holders agreed with that notion that because of a mere pronouncement of a certain Elon Musk causing the market to crash. that's not true we all just put it into a high level of speculation because the market is only experiencing a deep correction and for me, that's normal because most of the cryptocurrencies are overbought during the rally.

People should absolutely stop hyping his tweets, because that is the only way he will lose his power over the market. I don't think we will see that happening any time soon though, not with his celebrity status.

Paying too much attention to his tweets is having a negative impact on the price of Bitcoin, once we start ignoring him things will come back to normal, just like McAfee who once tried to influence Bitcoin with all sorts of speculations and predictions but was later ignored and shun off making him irrelevant in crypto world, once Elon Musk sell all his Bitcoin I believe the price will normalize and pump.

Looking at the Bitcoin market right now, I think the Bitcoin market was very much dependent on Elon Musk.Because the price of bitcoin has come down a lot since Elon Musk said it will no longer support bitcoin. As the world's largest investors invest in the Bitcoin platform, I think the price of Bitcoin will be pumping again.

I guess what had happened is a form of strategic plan and super idolized mindset. People look up Elon as god in cryptocurrency that can pump Doge tremendous in short time. Then pump Bitcoin in a short time. However, now is different because the market are all red pointing all of this because of Elon. When Doge pump, when Bitcoin pump, people are silence and didn't say bad words and blame Elon. Today it seems almost all are blaming Elon and Tesla. Bitcoin will increase again in the right time.

Recently the richest person in the world tweeted about Bitcoin, only to lose 3 billion in just one day and become "only" the third richest?
Has he suddenly become the stupidest person in the world? Who believes in that? He certainly has a whole machine behind him, some consultants and marketing people who have always done their job well up to now.
Why should something suddenly change? He still wants to fly to Mars himself, right?
I think that the Elon has thought about this very carefully and will benefit from it even more in the future.
SpaceX is an expensive business, it still needs a lot of money.

Do you have to believe everything he says now? For God's sake, no.
In my eyes he has become a great manipulator, at the moment no longer the great visionary

I received the news a few days ago that the Telasa company has stopped bitcoin transactions since then but the price of bitcoin has suddenly become so dumping. I don't understand why he suddenly stopped his company from trading Bitcoin even though he is such a big supporter of Bitcoin. One of the things I have seen recently about cryptocurrency is how much it can affect cryptocurrency.

As I just said in another thread, Elon Musk looks more like John McAfee every day. He is not stupid, but he does not seem very smart after everything that is happening, he says and does things that he later rectifies thinking that the rest of humanity is stupid, and that is going to cost him dearly, not in money, but in people who follow him blindly.

One thing to look at in the crypto world these days is that those who have a lot of money are increasing the price of the coins they are investing in.However, Bitcoin is unfortunate because of the bitcoins that Elon Musk has stopped.I would say it didn't work out at all.But I'm sure Elon Musk is a very clever person I think he himself understands why he took this step.

Using Bitcoin through various transactions in today's world is an idea of technological advancement. Elon Musk, CEO of the famous company Tesla, when his company approved the use of Bitcoin for car purchases. Again now cryptocurrency has spread in the market that his company prohibits the use of bitcoin for buying cars or making transactions. After hearing such news, various investors are removing the scope of investment from Bitcoin. I think every user here is much more optimistic. So recently, it is seen that the famous company Tesla is thinking of supporting another coin.

Looking at the cryptocurrency market, one can understand how much the market has collapsed.I truly believe that the price of Bitcoin that Elon Musk did not support Bitcoin has now dropped so much.Elon Musk is a large-scale investor. If Elon Musk invests in a coin, it will go to the moon.We have already received proof of that. But now he and his car company Tesla are not supporting Bitcoin for which the price of other coins including Bitcoin is going down.

At present it is difficult to imagine the cryptocurrency market. Because the market situation is much worse. Because I invested on different coins the price of all coins including bitcoin is going down. The amount of total assets in the market has decreased. It is difficult to predict what the market will be like. At the moment, Elon Musk is making various comments on his tweet. Which is not good news at all for the cryptocurrency market. It is impossible to understand how the market will change. However, most experts believe that the price of other coins, including Bitcoin, will be much lower.

Tesla Elon Musk is currently a sponsor. Because when he supports the coin, the value of the coin increases.Again, when he does not support any coin, the value of that coin decreases a lot.As we can see from the current market for Bitcoin. Because of one of his tweets, the Bitcoin market has collapsed. Many people are saying that Bitcoin is controlled by Tesla power.

This is market and everything could happen without permission and Elon Musk only giving statement, the effect is only dump not crush. We should see it as opportunity buy back and release bitcoin become another coin such as eth, cardano, polkadot. I believe bitcoin is finish but not with other coin they keep continue their project bigger than before. Most people don't like dump but if never happen how we can buy?

actually a lot of people who idolize @elonmusk and what is said is the truth, so many investors and companies do everything @elonmusk says, so obviously there is a deep correction for bitcoin in the end. should all investors and companies ignore what @elonmusk has to say, will not be as turbulent as it is today

as a genuine businessman, what is said is clearly a content of something that will clearly benefit him and the company used as a means of transaction. there is no pure businessman if he does not aim to benefit himself. We don't know what will happen after the correction, but obviously @elonmusk wants something at a low price and we'll be waiting for further news.

It looks like Elon Musk got what he wanted by creating a tweet that had a huge impact on the market.
Elon Musk bought DOGE at a bargain price and he tweeted about DOGE so it happened DOGE Pump. This is old trick in cryptocurrency space.
At this time he was enjoying what he wanted because he was selling DOGE at a high price and for sure he was skearnag was relaxing with the enormous fortune he made from selling DOGE.

The Bitcoin flow picture continues to deteriorate and is pointing to continued retrenchment by institutional investors. Over the past month, bitcoin futures markets experienced their steepest and more sustained fall. Of course there must be investors of different ranks.

bitcoin deteriorating is actually a normal thing and will return to normal, but at this time it is very different from usual because bitcoin has experienced a deep correction and this is only because of the influence of a businessman who is clearly and will definitely seek profit from what will happen. surprisingly, many old investors who have been around are also affected by this.

everything must be cut in the chain of things like this and should not be repeated because it is clearly detrimental to those who want to carry out their new projects and not yet the projects that are already running are also affected. Obviously this will have an impact on the bounty, where there may be frequent delays in payments due to waiting for the price to at least not lose from the sales price.

I do not think that the current situation will last long, during the last 4 days there are many people accumulating cryptocurrencies, what they have achieved with those tweets is that many more people and institutional investors have a much cheaper entry point to the market, so the bounce can be much higher when the time comes.

The statement of Elon that Tesla will not be accepting BTC as payment for their cars certainly pushes the price down. BTC market takes this news as negative news. Now he is saying he is supporting bitcoin but he seems more focused on Dogecoin. We don't need such supporters for the BTC in the future so that such people can not damage the market again by their statements. I believe small investors are much better for the market so that market can not be manipulated easily by one-two players.

Elon Musk and Tesla's intention from the beginning was Doge, they simply used the Bitcoin name to attract the crypto community and then make a fool of themselves. Now I don't think it will take them long to make an official statement saying that Tesla accepts Doge as a payment method. They have used the community to achieve their purposes, that is called manipulation.

I agree that they can do whatever they want, but what I disagree with is that they manipulate the market so blatantly, and what is worse, that they laugh at people. To say that they did not know how much electricity mining Bitcoins consumes seems like great nonsense to me and a way to take the (logical?) step to Doge. They have taken us for retards.

You're right, Elon Musk is human and makes mistakes like all of us. But it is one thing to make mistakes and quite another to take the rest of the world for idiots and try to manipulate the market in a totally blatant way. That is not being wrong, it is having a moral superiority and an ego that now works against him and makes him shut up.

I don't think Elon has anything to do with either bitcoin or dogecoin. Since the number of followers is too high, it makes the markets make speculative movements. What you said is what Elon has always done, but now a lot of people (finally) have realized it, the problem is that a lot of people will have realized it after losing their funds. If they haven't sold their coins (especially Doge) they still have a chance to get their money back, if they are patient and Doge raises again, But surely many have panicked and sold their coins.

The cryptocurrency market is run by different traders. I think Elon Musk is a big businessman. Who spreads negative news about cryptocurrency and adopts his own buying strategy. In this he succeeded in investing. Where the cryptocurrency market currently fluctuates with rich people. As proof, if we look at the cryptocurrency market, we can see Elon Musk's comments. Elon Musk has been interviewed in various articles and in the media. There have been a number of negative comments about Bitcoin. So the price of Bitcoin is going down a bit.

Elon Musk makes very contradictory statements not only about bitcoins, but also about Dogecoin. I recently read that he allegedly made another claim that Dogecoin is a scam. If such a statement really took place, then soon Elon Musk will no longer be taken seriously, at least in the world of cryptocurrency, and not space exploration.
Cryptocurrency needs to evolve without influencers. In any case, these should be specialists in this field, and not random people for cryptocurrency. Then there will be no such sharp price fluctuations.

Elon Musk had a good reputation in cryptocurrency but some of the abolitionist tweets from his profile are now being labeled as cryptocurrency villains.  Suddenly announcing a negative comment does not suit him.  Moreover, he will support dogecoin but he has no confidence in Bitcoin. Over time (if he haven't already) Elon Musk will realize that cryptocurrencies and the community are above his manipulation and lies. Cryptocurrencies started without Elon, grew without him, and will continue to do so. Nobody has named him spokesperson for anything, he is just a rich man who wants to be richer using bad practices. A few days ago Elon said they were helping to improve the Doge protocol, with what intention?. To control it.

It is natural that the price of any coin in the cryptocurrency market will fluctuate.  But over the last few months we have noticed how the capital market is controlled by one person.  At first no investor realized it was a ploy by Elon Musk.  Elon Musk said in his tweet about Bitcoin that he will accept Bitcoin as opposed to his Tesla car.  We observe the same thing with doggy coins.  But when he suspended Bitcoin in contrast to Lagar, we saw that the price of all coins in the market, including Bitcoin, started falling one by one.  But this time the fish did not sell its purchase in any bitcoin market.  My guess is that the price of Bitcoin will naturally rise again in the future.

The market is not controlled by a single person, the market is "controlled" by all the people who participate in it. What Tesla and Elon Musk have done is an act of manipulation, but the market decline is not due only to that, the statements of the Chinese government (like every year) have also had a negative impact. Many small investors have sold after Elon Musk's statements, and they are also responsible.

It was very unfortunate since the existence of Elon Musk in the world of Crypto became a little messy. We just see how big the influence of Elon is very large. Many of their followers were glued to what he tweeted. They did not understand Crypto but only followed what Elon was informed in his tweet. So sometimes or often they are not ready for market conditions that suddenly change.
