I think Polkadot has the capacity to be a great cryptoworld, and I am beyond any doubt there must be a great development control ahead to it but beating Eth is fair another story and it may not happen that quick and effortlessly. Sure, Polkadot has a lot of things to do to beat ethereum. First popularity, Ethereum's popularity is on the sky where polkadot is growing its popularity. Demand, demand of ethereum is high, where Polkadot is expanding its demand to the crypto world. Marketcap, Ethereum's marketcap is 10x higher than DOT. So Polkadot needs a lot of improvement to beat ethereum and it may need couple of years from now.

It is a good question. We see the progress of polkadot this year. Polkadot has shown good performance at market.  Ethereum is more popular bad has bigger communities. I think the reason why polkadot go up, because ethereum gas is so high.

Yes ,I think polkadot has potential to be number three overtake tether(USDT). But I don't think polkadot can beat Ethereum at the few years. Ethereum is king of smart contract platform and has been used by many tokens project.

Well, this shouldn't be expected anytime soon but potentially so far the polka looks more winning. It is better of course to have both of these coins in your portfolio.

I have read many opinion here, I think several people believed polkadot will beat Ethereum an near future. I agree with this. Polkadot has been predicted will beat Ethereum at the next year. hopefully it will happen soon, at this.year.

Practically i never think that DOT will beat ETH because its team is not weak in planning. The lacking of ETH will recover by ETH 2.0 where updated system used and they will try to capture future market also with their good planning as its a competitive market. So i think in future there may be competition but not beat ETH.

I think it will be able to beat ETH sooner or later. Because Polkadot is more advanced blockchain than ETH. It is very easy to use and very handy. The most important now is transaction fee is lesser than ETH and can handle more requests.

Agree to you mate, polkadot blockchain is so fast & Their development system continue to growing. So that polkadot have a great future, already many new project try to Entry under polkadot blockchain. Nothing is impossible in cryptocurrency market.  But  it’s very difficult to beat Ethereum. Because Ethereum is one of the best coin in crypto world. It’s popularity and price growing up  regularly. It’s very strong and potential coin than polkadot. But there may be a good competition between ethereum and polkadot in future, I personally think that.
