Just a humble Suggestion regarding one of the forum board and child's board.

Yesterday, I wanted a created a very helpful guide (topic) particular for newbies joining the cryptocurrency space but I couldn't find any board that will be best suitable for the topic I wanted to create and that was the reason I am creating the topic.

When I was about to create the topic, I thought it would be best on For Beginners Boar so I opened the board and there was no option to create new topic.  Then I thought to my self of creating the topic on the sub board Further Education but yet there was no option to create a new topic. The last sub board called Terminology which I found there was  not really the right board I should create a guid for newbies.

On the For Beginners Board, I saw a sub board named " Basic questions about this forum " While there is another board named Forum related, my suggestion is that, let the sub-board "Basic questions about this forum" be moved to the board "Forum related".  Then the Basic Questions about Cryptos and Terminology can be left as a sub-board on the "For Beginners.

Let the "For Beginners" Board be a board where topics such as "newbies guide" Will be created.  Imagine a topic like, "Newbies, be careful of the new scams", which board is more appropriate for such topic?


I want to the attention of @Admin and @Jokers. Other members too, what are your opinion on this?

Of course I can support the optimization of sections, but moderators don't have any impact on that. It's just up to admin.

Are good both good for topics that you mentioned.

There are far too many boards here, but they arte similar and we lack some very important ones (like technical discussions)

I think   wallets and exchanges are a bit lost, they should be much higher.

Op there is a Board you can create any topic concerning beginners and other related posts and the board is General Discussion and also the For Beginners Board you made mentioned can be used for your thread you said you wanted to create. The only issue here is that things are not clear for everyone to navigate the way we want. But it is getting better of compared to the first time we came here. Many boards have been removed or moved to other boards. What you are saying is good there there is a place for you to create thread.

Despite the General Discussion section can be used for mostly any topics, I'd not recommend using it to discuss important crypto topics, because these topics will quickly get lost between topics about flowers and vacuum cleaners. Of course you can anyway, but it is better to find a more suitable section so the topic to stay actual longer.

I think we do need such topics on this forum as many newbies don't really understand that how scamsters are using their shady tactics to scam money out of users. So, I guess general discussion could also be a suitable board for it because aside from the OP other members can also share their good points against those scams or scamsters.

In general discussion board people are talking about relationships, dating girls, and all the other things that has nothing to do with cryptocurrencies or altt forum.
For Beginners board is more than enough with two child boards and lot of different topics.

Yeah that's true and am even shocked to see people even think of this suggestions because I have being on the general discussion board myself and most of the posts I  see there are posts that really throws me off balance and make me wonder if that's actually the off-topic board of this forum because most of the post there aren't of any help and since it's a general discussion board like the name implies it serving it's purpose.

It's called General board for a reason it's literally for any discussion that pops up your head it's more of an off-topic board for spammers to increase post counts, increase points and exchange it for ALLT token.

For Beginners is for Q&A about the Forum I don't think it's suitable for any serious discussion related to crypto. It would get buried in no time.

I think you're right in general board there are so many off-topics which should not be there, and I guess those topics are allowed there and that's why they won't get moved by the moderators.This forum is somewhat different from Bitcontalk and that's the such boards are misused by the ones who don't really understand that this is a crypto forum and in a crypto forum all topics and posts somehow have its elements.

Once again, General Discussion is a sort of off topic section. If you read it's description, you'll find out: "Feel free to talk about anything and everything in this board." So mostly everything can be talked there, so it is correct to talk about whatever you want if it is not spam, not scam, not too low quality, not breaking forum rules, etc. But if you want to talk about something serious in crypto, you still can do it there, but it is better to choose some more specific section, so the topic not got lost between all off topic.
