Imho, the definition of DeFi is much more extensive than the fans of getting uni tokens for free understand it.  ;D ;D

- Stablecoins as structural elements of decentralized technologies.

- Decentralized lending. Software tools for obtaining and issuing loans on the blockchain, without using a bank account.

- Decentralized exchanges. Buying and selling cryptocurrencies directly on the blockchain.

- Securing loans. Provision of digital assets to secure decentralized loans.

- Decentralized identification systems.

- The ability to combine structural elements of decentralized finance that perform different functions, like libraries of software modules.

- Management of risks.

 ...etc.

The goal of decentralized financial technologies aka DeFi is to recreate traditional financial systems (such as lending, borrowing, derivatives and exchanges) using automated tools instead of intermediaries. Fully automated DeFi "building blocks" can be used to create more complex tools. At the moment, Ethereum is the main platform for decentralized finance, but in principle, these ideas can be implemented on any platform for smart contracts - EOS, Tron, etc.

Yes it is. But it should be borne in mind that DeFi projects exist not only with Ethereum blockchain, they also exist with Tron, Waves, EOS and other blockchains, just they are less popular and less visible compared to Ethereum DeFi projects.

Не думаю, что на БТТ уберут мериты. Так-то полезная штука в плане контроля качества постинга. Иначе там опять начнется спам-шоу.
Спам-шоу там есть и сейчас, мерит для контроля качества постинга - малоэффективен, точнее вообще неэффективен. Все осталось как и до введения мерита - криптогики и олды в крипте пишут заумные посты и попутно поносят нубов, нубы же (плюс джуниоры и мемберы) пишут всякую чушь, отбивая подписоту.
А единственное предназначение мерита - прекратить рост по рангам, с чем он управился на отлично. ))
