Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Is the market being manipulated now?
« on: April 05, 2018, 04:12:37 AM »
The market is simply based on supply and demand. Since the market is so young and Bitcoin is the grandfather, the market is following the leader. When the market hits a high, smart investors cash out and hold until the market dips and then get back into the market. It's unlikely that the market is being manipulated.

Start with whatever you can afford, decide on an investment strategy and stick with it. Don't let emotions cloud your judgement.

My strategy is to use GDAX, the trading platform, to buy ETH for example, and then trade in bite size pieces. Take small profits on several trades and keep reinvesting. This way, you can make a profit regardless of where the market is sitting. At the same time you are making small profitable trades, keep some long trades, then when the market spikes, you'll win on them too. Cash out for a nice profit and then reinvest when the market is low again.

If you don't have capital to get started, you can scrap togther bits of crypto from faucets and mining games. Follow the same procedure as I mentioned and you'll still profit. As you make larger profits, keep reinvesting. I put together a free report on my website that outlines my faucet project, if you're interested in investing your time to claim some crypto. The report is at http://terrytelford.com/free-bitcoin

This may not make you the richest man in your country, but it can give you a headstart

You can collect ETH from a faucet like ETH Combo. It's a mobile friendly site, not a true app, but the end result is ETH in your wallet :) If you're interested in faucets, I have a list on my website at

If you are willing to invest quite a bit of time, you can use faucets to generate ETH and Bitcoin too. If you visit my faucet page at http://terrytelford.com/best-faucet-accounts you can join some faucets that will start generating some ETH for you. ETH Combo, the second one on the list is specifically focused on ETH. It takes time to collect, but it doesn't cost you any money.

Cryptocurrency Price Speculations / Re: Is it time to buy some ETH
« on: April 05, 2018, 03:27:28 AM »
Yes, yes, and yes  ;D Now is the time to buy ETH and any other mainstream crypto. The market is low enough to buy as much as you can comfortably afford and wait for the market to pump again. Hold on to your hats :)

Ethereum Forum / Re: Bored?
« on: April 05, 2018, 03:23:27 AM »
If you're bored, you're doing it right :) Investing is not intended to be an emotionally driven activity full of excitement. If you decide on an investment strategy and follow it, it should be a bit boring. Although, I have to admit when your investment doubles or triples or more in a short period of time, it is difficult to stay grounded. A little dance is sometimes inevitable  8)

These are exciting times. The market only moves in 2 directions, so the smart investors are buying as much crypto as we can now and wait a few months for the market to reverse and then we sell. It's simple, but it works :)

Cryptocurrency Price Speculations / Re: ETH back to the price ~ $ 300

I suggest buying as much as you can afford now. Buy ETH or any crypto and then ride the coming wave. Sell when the prices are high and then repeat the process. The market is predictably fun :)

Ethereum Forum / Re: How to make a carrier by eth??
« on: April 01, 2018, 09:23:12 PM »
I don't think you want to make a career simply based on ETH, but maybe a career as an investor. First, get educated on investing and the priciples of investing and then apply your knowledge to whatever crypto you feel like investing and trading in. There are lots of resources online to learn from. Your initial learning can be done free and then get involved in more advanced courses as you can afford it.

Ethereum Forum / Re: Any way out?
« on: April 01, 2018, 09:18:10 PM »
The way out is in your mind. Establish your investing strategy so you have a basic road map for how you are going to manage your portfolio. While the market is low, like it is now, buy as much crypto as you can. If you get rid of the "chicken little" mindset, you'll have a lot less stress. The sky is not falling, the market simply moves as it always has and always will. Sometimes it's high, sometimes low. The easiest strategy to follow is buy low - sell high and don't let your emotions get in the way :)

Cryptocurrency Price Speculations / Re: Ethereum. Buy or not?
« on: April 01, 2018, 09:12:29 PM »
Right now is the time to buy any of the established crypto. The market is so low, you can scoop up a good amount of the coins and then use market arbitrage between exchanges as well as trading to increase your investment as you ride the coming wave.

This is a neat idea. I signed up to test it out. I'm testing out ways that people can get into the cryptocurrency market if they want to invest their time instead of money. I hope this one works well and I can recommend it.

Ethereum Forum / Re: Will ETH surpass 0.1 BTC level
« on: March 29, 2018, 03:16:27 AM »
I think when the markets start to stabilize in the future, we'll see a struggle between BTC, ETH and possibly XRP. Or maybe another coin will come screaming out of the gate and shoot right to the top. Whatever happens, my prediction is the future will see ETH on top, because of its versatility.
