While I knew till this but today I have noticed a Legend member. Then I started to find topics to learn more about post count based ranks. I ended up finding the topic: The different types of Ranks & Membergroups (https://www.altcoinstalks.com/index.php?topic=14162.0)

My question is: What is the post count for a Legend member rank?

Thanks, I would love to see a reference if you have one. It must be discussed somewhere. I tried to find it but really was unable to pull the information.

I didn't knew about 1000 posts requirement for legendary rank. I think there is nobody with legendary rank as for now. We have to wait for admin to confirm this requirement or find a reference like OP has suggested.

1000 the other one meant.

I did see one member with Legend rank. I will try to quote that profile once I see it again.

Update: Here is the user RianDrops (https://www.altcoinstalks.com/index.php?action=profile;u=18994). I feel glad looking on his profile.

I didn't knew about 100 1000 posts requirement for legendary rank. I think there is nobody with legendary rank as for now. We have to wait for admin to confirm this requirement or find a reference like OP has suggested.

Actually, there are quite a few Legend members out there - Raindrops (https://www.altcoinstalks.com/index.php?action=profile;u=18994),  heyod hewow  (https://www.altcoinstalks.com/index.php?action=profile;u=2039) and  Cordillerabit  (https://www.altcoinstalks.com/index.php?action=profile;u=9699)

And I am sure admin said somewhere that to be a legend member you require 1000 - 1200 posts. He didn't mention it as 1000 posts, It was 1000-1200 posts. I am not able to locate the post though

Ok this is an answer with a bit study and reference. I guess admin needs to update the topic ALTS tokens distribution (https://www.altcoinstalks.com/index.php?topic=832.0) with the number needed for Legend rank. Hope he do.

The administrator does a great job in this forum so I'm sure he will update this soon. I'm always amazed how fast he works and how much changes is made every week. Response time from Admin is blazing fast too. Sometimes I think he is non stop here because no matter at which time I send a PM he replies back in few minutes. Such a Admin is an asset.

I never said that he does not. I have seen a lot of work and effort he is putting for the forum. I also can see because of this the forum has a great potential walking parallel with BTT. With some loyal member it will not be a hard job to do. I am looking forward to exchange few words with admin.

I guess it's not since there are no wall to stop you. All you need to do is, engage with conversations, deliver quality posts and climb the mountain slowly.

I think 1000 is a lot yes, hence the rank Legend  ;) It's not designed to be low or for the average member.

Very true besides like I said earlier that it is not that hard as well. You just need to be active on the forum for long time.

I think you need to have a thousands of quality post  before reaching that kind of rank so better to explore first this forum to acquire more post.

If it is true for the rank was the Legendary 1000 post? of course, we need to be active again in the forum to exchange thoughts and knowledge sharing, which certainly do not spam just to chase the rank because this very interferes with the discussion in the forum.

I'm a hero member now and took me 6 months to achieve this rank. I think my activity is average with 2,5 post on dailly count. If somebody achieve legendary rank in one month, I think, his profile should be checked for spam, burst posting and other forum rules abuse. If nothing found after check, then there is no problem but if there is a lot of spam or any other forum rules abuse, he should be punished with post count, point and rank reduction. Additionally negative karma should be issued.

Yeah I dunno, i post alot because I'm really bored between trades and really talkative and if I can't even make it to 500 in 5 months, I'd say 1000 in a month is damn near impossible without some severe spam.

We can be there just be always active and participate in the forum and besides no limit in post counts per day which I think reaching to be Legend in six months is still possible.

So its clear now, Its quite hard becoming Legendary Member today, But we are sure that it is worth our hardwork. thanks for this thread. Now its clear for me, how much is the required number of posts to become legendary member.
Title: Re: Post count for a Legend?

I have to say that if you are really involved in forum live, take part in bounties and engage with people, then there will be no problem for you to write few quality posts in a day. Sometimes there will be even hard to find needed time to this because is really time consuming. I thought in begin that 1000 posts is a lot because my frequency was only 1,2 post per day but with time i get more involved and now this is 3 which makes me Legendary in spaan of a year. i think this is reasonable and short time compared to other forums where this is not possible at all.

Of course I'm talking about real quality on topic content and no spam at all. So taking all this into consideration, achieving Legendary rank on AltcoinsTalks forum is still very easy. Everybody who is complaining or thought that this is too much, has to reconsider his approach.

Meaningful posts is what we aim here because that is one of the reason to bring this forum into a world class position concerning about crypto currencies. With this we can attract big investors out their to be part of this growing community.
But of course it is hard to make 1000 post with full of meaning because sometimes we speak with humor and not related on crypto currency discussion.  ;)

First few days I was very active and reached to Sr. Member in around 7 days I guess then I gone inactive for long time since not much traffic here, until today. For an active member and who posts a lot - will not need much time. I am in another forum, I like to stay there, hang out with that community. In last 7 days I made over 200 posts and they are not spammy for sure.

By the way, I agree with you. If anyone misuse the forum then s/he should get penalty.

Wow if its true then your posting is quite good. Normally in a discussion you can see if someone is just doing a spam over and over a topic. That's why the forum becoming crowded with this. How about when the topic and the problem raised by poster is already address there should be an auto locked for that thread. What do you think? By this we can limit the discussion and stretch it to response needed of the one who posted.

But I think it will be next to impossible as of now as moderator are probably few to monitor topics raised. Best way I guess is to add more general discussion thread that don't add post count. I want to rank up but I'm not eager to be on that rank as my knowledge needed a lot of reviews of the subforum here. So will do this in a right manner of posting.

One thousand post is so much but if you want to achieve this rank a legendary you need be more active everyday or join the bounty campaign of this forum, not only you earned from this campaign and together your rank will level up to what you wanted with this it is easy to be on legendary rank..

Its not that hard to gain that rank provided that posts are really has sense when it comes to discussion. I think less than a year if you're that active on different thread here.

I can say that I have what it takes to be on that level but will take it slowly as I familiarize myself of this forum.

To be honest, I would be quite content to just reach Sn. Member, I have never reached that in any forum before and I think it would be awesome to reach that here, that is my aim for now, after that I would try for Hero Member.

Wow! 1000 is sure a lot of post. But then if you need something, you work hard to get it then you value it. If it is easy, everyone would be a legend by now.
