Crypto Exchanges / Re: Is it safe to put the tokens on the exchange?
« Last post by joniboini on Today at 07:27:19 PM »
Diversifying storage is a balanced approach.
Even if you're referring to making multiple cold-storage wallets, I still think it is risky compared to using one wallet with multiple secure backups, or a multi-sig. Not to say you can't do that, but the effort to keep the backup of your seeds would increase based on how much storage you have. Are you sure there are techniques suitable for everyone for that purpose? Personally, I'd rather focus on making sure that I secure my backups properly instead of making multiple wallets to store my assets, including not using exchanges to store my funds.

Forum related / Re: Time offset
« Last post by Igebotz on Today at 07:26:15 PM »
It all depends on where the Forum server is hosted and the convenient time for that location and also for the admin. He can't set the forum time to GM+3 while he lives in GM-6 time zone( doesn't work that way.)
Who told you that sheriff?  ;D
I can create website in five minutes and make it show any time I want, it does not matter what location is server using is hosting my website using.
And I think I saw admin saying that he can change forum time to anything, so your theory is not working ;)

Lol. I can not create a website and set the time zone to Asian while I'm stuck here in Africa. This way I can have a correct timestamp on my work. Well, the Sherrif is not a robot and can be wrong sometimes.  ;D

Meme Coins / Re: Notcoin MеМ Coins ( NOT )
« Last post by DYING_S0UL on Today at 07:26:10 PM »
I actually wrote this topic not for those who collected coins for free, but mostly for those who are involved in investments because NOT is a very good investment, all my friends, if possible, bought this token on the premarket, including me, too, bought it, I have it of course it’s a lot, but I decided that I’ll buy it a little more while there is such an opportunity to earn good money. So you, as investors, will do the right analytics and perhaps understand that NOT is a very good investment

If the developers of NOTcoin can implement what they previously announced, then I agree that NOTcoin could be a profitable investment in the long run. However, I would expect that there will be a massive dump in the first days after listing, as there will surely be a huge number of those who will want to sell their free tokens.
There is some good news from the NOTcoin developer who has started deploying tokens so that they can be immediately distributed and sold. Luckily for those airdrop participants who are still patiently waiting for NOTCoin's development. For a dump to occur during distribution on the first day is normal because many airdrop participants are sure to sell.
I am one of the airdrop participants. But with the amount of NOTcoins I have, I doubt it will be worth any penny after the deployment. When I joined, it was too late. Wish I had joined early.  Just after joining, the mining phase ended. Let's see how much it gets listed at. I'm also expecting a huge dump. ;)

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Future of Bitcoin
« Last post by Jamal Aezaz on Today at 07:25:05 PM »
If you feel Bitcoin is too expensive to buy, it's best to buy it according to your ability or according to the funds you have. Because in the next few years, the price of bitcoin will be more expensive than today. buy while you can and it's still cheap, because the price of bitcoin will probably be more than $100K

Everyone can buy Bitcoin according to his saved cash and there is no burden or force of investment on any person until he makes the decision of buying by himself. Decrease and increase can happen anytime but I think in future there will be more inflation and you will also be not able to buy Bitcoin at that So if you have some money then buy it now as in future the price will be higher.

Just put a little amount which you can easily manage but if you don't have any money then don't think to take money from others to invest in bitcoin because that will become a burden for you and you will not be able to enjoy your Bitcoin investment.

Crypto Exchanges / Re: Is it safe to put the tokens on the exchange?
« Last post by JISAN on Today at 07:21:32 PM »
It's generally safest to keep most tokens in a non-custodial wallet you control. However, verified exchanges like Bitget, Binaxe or OKX with proof of reserves exceeding customer assets can be suitable for storing huge amounts also if desired for convenience. Diversifying storage is a balanced approach.
Exchanger is used to convert tokens or coins. But it is not a wallet.  If you want to hold your token then it is better to use a wallet in this case but if your intention is to trade or exchange your token then you can certainly use an exchanger. When using an exchange, you should use a reputable exchange platform like Binance, Kucoin, etc. If the tokens you have are not listed in these exchanges then you can exchange them in any exchange and withdraw the Dollers immediately.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: ATH of bitcoin 2025 ??
« Last post by Jamal Aezaz on Today at 07:18:15 PM »
I strongly believe that we never see another ATH this year anymore, if judging by the previous bitcoin halving circle we would understand that whenever bitcoin halve passes we don't always create new ATH at that same year except we fully enters the next year. So, for that we can only managed to get close to $70k again this year but we can't exceed that price range till we enters next year fully before the bull run starts.

We cannot say something with strong belief because crypto nature is not stable so any pump and dump can happen any time and also news put effects on the value of Bitcoin so maybe some good news arises which pumps Bitcoin to its ATH again.

The halving does not impact the price of coins in just one or two months in a positive direction but the current dump is also a part of the after effects of halving and we should take advantage of it.

Either at the end of 2024 or at the start of 2025 we will see another ATH so we should buy enough Bitcoin and altcoins which can give us profit at that pumping month.

Cryptocurrency Trading / Re: Trading is not same thing as Gambling
« Last post by milewilda on Today at 07:15:24 PM »
I keep seeing this type of comparison all the time and everywhere. I think its quite obvious that they are not the same but for some reason it must be "feeling" same to some people. If you are not using TA or FA, if you are not reading the charts, if you are not putting your entire trading knowledge into each trade, then yeah you may feel that way. Still doesn't mean its gambling, but a newbie just randomly picking something may feel a little bit like a gambler. I believe that as long as we get to just have a positive return or at least potential to it, the lack of house edge alone makes it quite possible for you to be fine.

Its true, any activity where a newbie jumps in and just hopes for the best can feel a lot like gambling. Its about luck for them at that point kind of like playing the lottery. If you're not looking at charts or putting your knowledge to work I can totally see why it might feel more like a gamble. But processes that you can control or predict more than 80% can hardly be considered random
A beginner just relies on luck because they don't have the knowledge to do research and make analysis, it's natural that in the past I just looked for news and followed my friends' steps when I was a beginner. And after that, just start learning to do research, this is a process. so it takes time to become a great investor or trader
Newbies don't have much idea about this so they can't think and trade like experienced traders. But now as there are many mediums of learning so a new trader should first learn about trading well and then engage in trading. Maybe a new trader can start trading with a demo account first and practice there. With a small amount of money, if he applies practically, he will get a rough idea of the business and he can gradually learn from the rough idea and continue his trading well as he learns. Risk must be taken because if there is no risk then we will always have that fear and we will never gain proper knowledge about trading.
Everyone starts on being a noob on which on the t ime that you would really be touching up trading without having that entire knowledge then you would really be definitely be having that common newbie mistake whereas you would really be finding out those  real things on what are the needed up for you to be able to handle yourself towards this space. Trading isnt gambling, it would really be turning out tobe gambling on the time that you would really be that doing trading without having that proper knowledge. On the time that you would really be having that knowledge
then its an another story.

Crypto Exchanges / Re: NO-KYC Exchanges
« Last post by JISAN on Today at 07:13:26 PM »
Does anyone have a list of NO-KYC centralized exchanges?

There was one list in bitcointalk forum but I can't find it anymore and lot of things changed in last few months (I think Kucoin and few other exchanges are now asking for mandatory user verification)

PS
I am asking ONLY for classic centralized style exchanges, so please don't post any swap exchanges, and no decentralized exchanges.
I use MEXC as a non kyc exchange and it is very comfortable for me because here you can create as many accounts as you want and instantly exchange all listed coins here. And here deposit and withdrawal are done very fast. this is a good advantage of MEXC. I don't use any other exchange so can't speak about other exchanges. But I have used BitMart for quite some time also here kyc is not mandatory. But I use MEXC regularly

Many scammer still use this method for scamming us by sending phising email, usually they are giving about claim coins or token trough phising email link and make us believing with reward airdrop receiving.
Many kinds or method using by scammer currently behind several airdrop need claiming firstly for receiving coins, some scammer sending phising link to our email account and other scammer make modify or make similar phising link from official airdrop claiming coins.
be careful and don't use primary email for joining an airdrop because your email not privacy any more after filling form in airdrop project.
Some days ago i fall this kinds of phising email. So i am practicality experienced about this scam. So we have to aware about it. Now a days scammers are using phising email frequently and many people falling in this trap. So i think we have to more aware about phising email or any kinds of unverified link. If we unable to census about it we will loss our valuable fund.
