Some governments are starting to embrace blockchain and cryptocurrencies and others are literally closing the doors to this technology. Do you think governments will continue to fight back against cryptocurrencies and decentralization?
It makes no sense for the government to kill the cryptocurrency. Cryptocurrency is a massive phenomenon, a much more advantageous solution would be to take control of the cryptocurrency, impose additional taxes and restrictions. Another mechanism for managing people in the hands of the government. All attempts to destroy the cryptocurrency will only lead to its even greater distribution.

If there is no trade or no real life use cryptocurrencies are nothing. Like fiat money, every financial asset needs exchange. But I think it is really impossible. New era needs cryptocurrencies.
This is what I find so confusing about trading with BTC. At first glance it might look like I am loosing money because my altcoin is going down against BTC but it is not because BTC is going up against the USD..

Hi Everyone,
As advised I am trying to learn the basics of crypto first.
Most of the suggestions mention investing in top ranked coins. My question is, does it always work? As far as I understand, the market is vulnerable and affects almost all the coins from top to bottom. How then you determine which ones would stay ?
Cryptocurrency price movements in the market are very volatile, the price bullish or bearish are normal, most people choose to invest in the top 10 coins in the coinmarketcap because this coin already has a large community and a solid #DevelopmentTeam , different from the ICO coins which have only a small community if the #DevelopmentTeam  is not smart enough working on the promised concept according to the roadmap will result in the project failing and the coins will no longer be valuable. the most important of all is analyzing before investing.

The idea of a decentralized exchange is very interesting, but in practice these exchanges do not provide a normal number of coins, their liquidity and the exchanges themselves quite slow.
I think in the future there will be hybrid exchanges that will combine the advantages of centralized and decentralized exchanges.
Cryptocurrency needs decentralizaion 100%. It makes no sense with centralized crypto. I just think the system needs a bit inmprovement yet.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: should I invest in ICO or altcoins?
« on: April 13, 2019, 07:18:48 AM »
There are so many New ICO's these day ? Is that safe to invest in ICO ? any 1 invested in 2018 ? 2017 was the year of ICO's but is that still safe to invest ? or how to know which ICO is good to invest ?
Just analyze some of these projects and look for all the info related to the project because this year is not the year of the ICO and there are many ICOs who have failed sales and many ICOs have entered the market and have not gotten good prices for sale. especially if we as ICO investors certainly know what risks we can accept.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Does anyone buy obscure altcoins?
« on: April 12, 2019, 06:26:31 AM »
The little-known altcoins sometimes give much more profit than the well-known coins included in the top ten or two dozen of the top of the CoinMarketCap table. However, before investing in them, you need to study the project and its team very well, because among them there are also many useless coins and tokens. Some tokens brought profits to their holders hundreds of thousands and even millions of times more than the funds spent on their purchase. You need to know the market well to buy obscure tokens.
If you are interested in a coin and have done your research you will normally find out what the best exchange for that particular coin. Normally it will be the the one with the highest volume and that generally means it is more trustworthy.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Crypto will be the future real money
« on: April 12, 2019, 03:57:26 AM »
I see Crypto currency is so popular now,  The system is growing rapidly and every system is adjusting to it. It is possible to take over in a long time to come.

Will Crypto be the future real money ???

Yes I think It will happen. Crypto will be the future real money. I see cryptos have potential to be currency at the coming future.
Since we do not hold cash primarily because we expect it will go up in value; we are pre-disposed to spending cash and not HODLing, because as a unit of value, the amount we hold is the amount of value we expect to receive in exchange, as a result of this premise and it's attendant actions, cash and fiat generally undergo faster throughput in the economy.
Now, in the case of cryptocurrencies, most people who have crypto are saving it because of a belief that it will go up in value, and as a result, there is less throug-put and more volatility, which in turn discourages widespread adoption.
My question is what are the things, technologies, new protocols etc that can make cryptocurrency the preferred option for the exchange of values, on its [cryptocurrency's] road to eventually replacing fiat?

As per my study over the cryptocurrency market, the Bitcoin price is not rising. Almost 95% of the Cryptocurrencies are in fluctuatation that leading the value to down.

My prediction based on the recent news about BTC that BitPay used BTC by many Vendors and Merchants invoices and Payment loads. So, BTC Price might be increased with fluctuations for next couple of weeks.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Bitcoin will survive ??
« on: April 06, 2019, 08:26:10 AM »
Bitcoin is trying to eliminate US Dollar, Euro, banks, gold, silver.

Will  bitcoin survive??
strongly feel bitcoin will survive this major hurdle and continue the uptrend ride to hit upto 10K$ per coin in the next couple of years.

Having said that now lets analyze the situations one by one,

Lot of governments and corporates are starting to adapt to bitcoin
Almost 50 percent of the mining power has already singnalled early SegWit2x upgrade
Almost all the other alt coins are being traded in bitcoins along side usd
And my assumption is the rest of the mining power will signal SegWit upgrade because they are solely dependent on bitcoin mining . And if bitcoin splits all the panic bears will eat away the value of the coin, resulting in total disaster. If Bitcoin drops mining will no longer be profitable and they have invested a lot on that.
Looking at all these bitcoin soon will rise exponentially..... What do you guys think... I am new to all this feel free to correct me if I am wrong..

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Does bitcoin control the market?
« on: April 06, 2019, 05:38:40 AM »
I think that controlling the price movements of all crypto currency including bitcoin depends on the presence of buyers and sellers,if it doesn't exist it seems like it will be very difficult to control the price of bitcoin.
Nobody owns the Bitcoin network much like no one owns the technology behind email. Bitcoin is controlled by all Bitcoin users around the world. While developers are improving the software, they can't force a change in the Bitcoin protocol because all users are free to choose what software and version they use. In order to stay compatible with each other, all users need to use software complying with the same rules. Bitcoin can only work correctly with a complete consensus among all users. Therefore, all users and developers have a strong incentive to protect this consensus.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Your income from crypto trading?
« on: April 05, 2019, 05:44:58 AM »
I've just tried to trade with cryptocurrency. The profits is still in a little amount. I am aware it is no problem because I am still learning about trading. I think the strategy that is suitable for now is scalping or swing.

The general public often equates people generating income in cryptocurrencies with traders performing multiple transactions daily and constantly monitoring future ICOs. Of course, some enthusiastic crypto people practice virtual currency investment in this way with passion and frenzy. Nevertheless, there are much less time-consuming and risky solutions to generate income in the world of cryptocurrencies.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Be Careful! Whales are watching!!
« on: April 03, 2019, 07:42:10 AM »
Why we FOMO not to loss all investment, we should know that whales are watching, I have had some unforgettable experience in this crypto world, where some coins I sold off went to about 50X and the most shocking to me is Electra that went over 500X of the price I sold.

Just some patience will help you, relax all things will be OK soon, never forget Whales are watching and targeting when they will enter the market.
yeah you're right.. When you see a huge drop in a coins price, people will sometimes blame it on whales that are dumping on the market. Whales are people or possibly a group of people working together to hold a large percentage of that coin and can use this to their advantage to manipulate the price of a coin to the desired price. Typically when this occurs "weak hands" will start panic selling so they can buy back into the coin at a cheaper price.
