Still not sure how the writer or anyone will utilize blockchain to secure AR data other than printing hash on the internet. He mentions centralized server is bad but using IPFS is probably not the best choice for AR data storage unless there is an incentive for people to host them. This begs the question of why blockchain is even necessary if encryption and stuff like that can be used to secure the transfer process already. Even if you want to make sure the data is not tampered with, why blockchain if you only send some bits of the data anyway? I can guess some of the answers but the writer definitely needs more than explaining everything over a single paragraph if the target is to convince people to use his dedicated blockchain project for this purpose. CMIIW.
