Even fiat money has it's own digital form, no wonder Cryptocurrency will have more demand because of some merchants in the market accepts crypto as payment method. I know soon it will more popular in the future and can even match with the fiat transactions we have right now. The question is will the goverment allow such transactions?  :)

I'm keen on exploring Layer 2 blockchain technology in the crypto space, recognizing its immense potential for growth. These solutions offer scalability enhancements that can significantly improve transaction efficiency and throughput, addressing critical limitations faced by major blockchains like Ethereum. This opens up a wide array of opportunities across sectors such as DeFi and NFTs, driving innovation and expanding blockchain utility and that is why i find it interesting to invest.

Additionally, I'm keeping a close watch on meme coins, particularly those supported by major venture capital firms and centralized exchanges. Despite their origins as internet jokes, the backing of influential players lends them credibility and potential for substantial gains. With the bull market gaining momentum, I see these investments as promising avenues for maximizing returns.

I agree with you that altcoin rates are higher than bitcoin, but if we choose potential altcoins such as ethereum, BNB and Solana we are safer and can make a profit if the market improves, of course waiting for the bitcoin price to increase.
If you buy altcoins but still refer to Bitcoin movements, wouldn't it be better to just buy bitcoin? I don't mean to underestimate altcoins, but so far Bitcoin has made us more stable than altcoins.

However, this matter is again adjusted to each investment style. I see a lot of people who like altcoins or memecoins because they are chasing quick profits... this is proven because the price fluctuations are very high. Many people are even interested in calling meme coin trading a tool to get rich quickly. Even though that is not completely true, it is proven that many people believe it.

I personally agree with you. Instead of buying bitcoin, i invest on Solana and RON that has more room to grow and has good ecosystems. Although bitcoin is the primary crypto, but you can take profit 300% or even 1000% in other crypto. You only need the right coin or token to do so. Intensive research and good technology and development will be good to consider before you invest. Bullrun just started we can accumulate more profit for the next 3 years cycle.

With all due respect to you, it's not that I'm underestimating bitcoin, this upcoming bull run, or our future bull run; the profit we can get from bitcoin is only from x3 to x7. Sure, there is profit to be made knowing that Bitcoin is proven and tested when it comes to the long term.

But with other altcoins that are at the top of the market, even meme coins, the chances that our capital can be repeated are 10x to 1000x times our capital. This is legit and real talk because many people have experienced this every bull season; even if there is no bull season yet, it also happens. And not everyone is chasing their profit because I'm not like that. Like me, one of my holdings is Pepe. I'm holding it for the long term and it's been a bull run now. I have a timeframe for when I'm going to sell it, and I'm just waiting for that. This is just one example of me holding altcoins or meme coins.

I think i can elaborate it like this. Holding can't give you money unless you sell it and convert it into fiat. Also i don't recommend lending it's too risky, you can use your own asset as long as you can handle the loss. As of me, i earn through Airdrop as an Alpha tester and through investing some of my assets into crypto tokens.

For profit, it's a Yes. For technology, It's a Yes also. Technology plays a pivotal role in the realm of crypto blockchain projects, instilling confidence in investors regarding the utility and functionality of a project. Take Solana, for instance. Despite experiencing an outage incident, investors continue to trust in its technology, resulting in minimal impact on Solana's price. This exemplifies how robust technology can sustain investor confidence even in the face of challenges.

I only have a little Bitcoin because Bitcoin is the first cryptocurrency I heard of so I believed in buying Bitcoin.
But my total assets are not in Bitcoin but in the land and buildings that I own now in the real world.
Maybe next time I will change my portfolio to cryptocurrency if I experience multiple profits.
Before you do that, make sure you all have the knowledge in crypto currency. What i mean is, learn how to determine what tokens or coins you should invest in. It's not an easy task to do but it worths your time and save your money from bad investments. I recommend you to learn from this forums discussions, i know there's a lot more ideas you can learn.  :)

It's not wise to allocate all of your assets on crypto, in my side i allocate 30% of my hard earned savings on cryto. It's a one time investment and am trying to hold it for two years from now. I have my work and i secure all my daily needs. If i save my 30% savings on the bank the inflation will eat up your savings though although i have the 70% on the bank.

  • Are you willing to buy Web3-phones?
  • Will Web3-phones become a trend for other blockchains to follow?
  • Are Web3-phones really necessary for the crypto/blockchain market?

1. No, i already i have a phone and i don't think i need another one. Besides, there's no guarantee there'll be another interesting airdrop for owner of those web3-phone.
2. Probably no. I agree with @joniboini that total sales/pre-order seems to be inflated. And since some of web3-phones have expensive price, i expect many cryptocurrency owner would rather buy iPhone.
3. No, we could just use regular smartphone and install web3 apps on it.
I rather have my new iphone and install a non custodial wallet to store my assets. I think why there's a lot of demand for this web3 phone because of it's token compensation from projects in their ecosystem to their mobile users. I'm still holding back to purchase some of these phones, but who knows i might buy one if the tech of it's phone can be upgraded to higher versions that can compete the tech of the latest Android phones we have right now.

First thing you would consider is the team behind the project and all other documents of the project (social media, whitepaper etc.). Next is the utility of the token or coin you want to invest in. Also you can check what platforms their project backed up (VC, or other solid projects or exchanges). So far these things you must consider before choosing coin or token to invest.

Yes, those things are very important, but I think it is also important that you have to see very well where they will be in the exchanges, if it is a centralized exchange and the better, they don't like decentralized exchanges when it comes to new projects because it is It is very difficult for them to generate trust, they always rely on decently organized exchanges and promises to have them listed on Bianance, Kucoin, among others.

I like Projects that have some backing , for example Projects like casinos, but I hope they don't fail, that's the best, however I'm Always going to lean towards those that see a lot of future in them and that's where they benefit the most. study the way the characteristics that you say are very important.

Now more than ever we should see the things that concern us, like the capitalization of the market, how many clients they have, how much community they have, All that matters.
Ohh i missed that point. Thank you for sharing, I agree with it. Although decentralized exchanges are not bad, But it's a big factor if the project first launches in Centralized exchanges or they are backed up with them. It's not an assurance but you have the confidence that you did the right choice. :)

I'm not a fan but i'm very impressed how Solana rally these few weeks. I think SOL has a great potential considering the ecosystem they had and also the technology. Espcially their Solana mobile, it's quite very interesting for not to invest for this network. The bugs and outage as long as it can be fixed I'm good with it, there's always room for upgrade and improvements as the project continue. :)

Binance / Re: Binance to be banned in Philippines.
« on: March 27, 2024, 12:25:15 PM »
Binance has stopped its service in many countries in recent times, and i am sure the list is going to get longer, i am sure regulation is the reason, binance didn't have a license to operate in some of these countries, and when they were required to get their license, they backed down due to the regulatory demands i think.

However, if Binance is banned in your location, there must be other alternatives or you simply better switch to p2p exchanges if you can.
There are more other exchanges other than binance that we can trade crypto. I don't think goverment of Ph can stop people from "investing" in crypto. Yes, it is due to regulations. Many corrupt people in the SEC seek money from these exchanges to have them legally operate in this country(PH). So sad, binance is very user friendly regarding trading crypto currencies in our country. Hope to see some good news in the future.

Meme Coins / Re: Mesmerized by Meme Coins?
« on: March 27, 2024, 11:23:29 AM »
I remember when dogecoin reached 0.73$ and how the world is shocked by it, i think it started all there and people are seeking which meme coin influencers investing in to go with the flow. And now these memecoins are entertaining people by giving gains for short term trades or hold. In my port i invest in $Bonk under Solana ecosytem, the backed up for this memecoin is so strong for me to trust in it for a short period of time. I'm not planning to hold it for too long, if i'm satisfied with my gains i sell it all and wait for some good coins to invest again, that's my cycle. :)
