Suggestion Box / Re: Dark Mode Theme
« on: December 30, 2023, 01:25:36 AM »
If you are impatient to wait for the admin upgrade, all browsers have the option to see every site in dark mode via the extension. It is often not the best solution, and the site will not be completely converted to dark mode, but it can certainly be useful.

for example:
Chrome: https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/dark-mode/dmghijelimhndkbmpgbldicpogfkceaj?pli=1
Opera: https://addons.opera.com/en/extensions/details/dark-mode/
Firefox: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/darkreader/

Yobit / Re: Yobit: liquidity problem
« on: December 30, 2023, 01:05:01 AM »
Yobit needs to do something really impressive to attract users, thereby increasing liquidity for trading pairs. Thanks to that, projects will want to list their token on Yobit and indirectly promote Yobit. It would be useless to list a token on Yobit that has no liquidity, no users, and no effect in promoting the growth of project.

Yobit's plans in recent years such as Investment Box, Mining... have not proved effective and Yobit is almost unknown in the CEX market @@

Yobit is an ordinary scam. It is unbelievable to me that they have been operating for years while offering very risky and scam services. They are called Investbox, fake mining or once a week they launch a new IEO, which has absolutely no background, no contract or blockchain.
Yet somehow they resist and are still not the target of any investigation. Some much more honest and stable exchanges have gone out of business due to pressure, but this is not happening to Yobit.
As users, we must ignore such services and not make their business as difficult as we can.

Hey, hey, welcome here.
I'm glad to see my favourite exchanger here too. I hope you will be active here as well.

note: I'm still getting used to this forum, so I have to leave a comment to follow the thread in unread replies to my posts.

I was looking at the UniJoin website and it seemed like this would be very interesting to discuss.
As far as I know, there are many kinds of mixers for Bitcoin and even in various forums they have been discussed and marketed a lot.
The mixer for Ethereum that I know uses an application from TORNADO which can dissolve every Ethereum coin transaction. TORNADO Website

But on the UniJoin website there is USDT Tether which will make every transaction private.
I don't understand how that works?? Will it work the same as Ethereum using the TORNADO application?? Please explain to me , thanks :)

That option is not possible, "soon" has been there for quite a long time, maybe even from the very beginning.
I think they even stated somewhere that they will not develop these possibilities. But of course, the best thing is to wait for their officials to give direct answers.

Forum related / Re: Notification Request
« on: December 29, 2023, 01:41:57 PM »
It doesn't have to be exclusively a Telegram bot, it's perfectly fine for it to be via email or just as a feature on the forum. I am fine if I have a tab where I can see unread posts in which I have been mentioned.
Regularly checking the topic can be tiring, and a waste of time, especially when spammers fill up the thread.

Forum Warriors / Re: We need you ....
« on: December 29, 2023, 01:33:06 PM »
Same issue everywhere..

But I have the impression that your appeal has been heard, and that recent events has done well for you!  :)

It looks like the forum will be getting busier and busier in the next few days. We will see, I'm curious to see how things will turn here

I think that some conclusions should be drawn from this whole thing with Mixers and the forums should be directed in that direction. As far as I know, a lot of mixers represented their ANN on the forum (Bitcointalk so far) as the only or most important contact channel. I believe that Altt could completely take over that role.

Also, I remember the time when, for example, not a single altcoin could be found on CMC if it did not have its own ANN thread on the Bitcointalk forum (I think alternatives like this forum were also acceptable).
It was a good practice, and every project needs to have direct communication with the community and its users.

Earlier, I suggested that BestChange should provide its clients with a forum account, where they will be able to give answers to clients' questions that they cannot delete later. It seems to be a bit harder to implement though.

Suggestion Box / Re: Favorite boards or hide boards.
« on: December 29, 2023, 12:50:40 PM »
In the meantime, I discovered a more useful option. Each section has "Unread posts", which offers a more transparent and direct checking of the latest posts only in the sections that interest you.

Our Token / Re: The 1st Halving
« on: December 29, 2023, 11:52:34 AM »
can we discuss future of ALTT in some thread? I see that this one linked is closed for discussion

I think that many members could share some great ideas when they read about the total change in strategy

maybe there is some topic that i am not aware of, if yes it should be also linked in quoted thread

The ALTT token should have more space here or at least these topics about it should be more visible. I struggled a lot until I found this, somewhat unexpected that the section is called "Our Token" at the same time, it is in the subboard where forum matters are discussed.
Bit confusing for newcomers

Bitcoin Forum / Re: BTC failing as a payment method
« on: December 28, 2023, 12:31:50 PM »
Is this happening for the first time? Such a situation already happened with bitcoin exactly one year ago +/-. As practice has shown, waiting is the best way to save money. Why overpay now? It's better to wait a bit, and then quietly deposit/withdraw funds, with minimal commissions. I just don't see any other way out of this situation. In the same eth similar situations with commission happen a bunch of times. Nothing, lodi wait and we will wait until everything is settled. 8)

This means that Bitcoin, as the most important cryptocurrency, is only used for savings. What should those who have to sell or buy do?
What about all micro-businesses, which have many small transactions daily? Here, for example, mixers, can you imagine how this affects their business, where the basis of the entire business is making transactions?
At least one-third of the Bitcoin ecosystem is currently in trouble or has minimized operability due to this exorbitant fee.

Litecoin Forum / What is the best choice for LTC wallet?
« on: December 28, 2023, 11:54:58 AM »
The current burden on the Bitcoin network and high fees are turning us to alternative solutions for "small" payments. LTC still has the most authority of all altcoins.

I use the Trezor hardware wallet for most of the currencies I hold, so I'm not the most knowledgeable about what is a good choice for a software wallet. It must certainly support all types of addresses.

Previously I used the Litecoin core wallet from https://litecoin.org/ but I remember that he had to download the complete blockchain, so it was a bit tedious.
As another choice, it would probably be https://electrum-ltc.org/

Does anyone have a recommendation, based on personal experience?
I believe that this could be a useful topic, considering that some signature campaigns will pay out in Litecoin.

I don't know when this update was, but I haven't seen the new design until now.
All praise from my side, it looks great. I can't even decide which version is better for me, day or night mode. I remember that I was criticized earlier because of too many gifs and animations, this is now a huge improvement.

I am interested in one question: how safe are the exchanges on these platforms? I ask not because I distrust you, but because anything new to me is unfamiliar and untested personally. Have you personally conducted exchanges on one of them? I am against verification, which is why I became interested in this topic.

I assume you know that no one can give you any guarantees that an exchange service is 100% safe, not even Binance. Even if OP or I have a great experience with one of the exchangers, that doesn't mean that you won't have a problem with them or that they won't go bankrupt after a month, or be hacked.
That's why discussions like this are very important, where users will share their experiences, which will help you if you have doubts when using any service.
