Crypto Wallets / Re: Phoenix Wallet another US ban?
« on: Today at 12:54:48 PM »
On Phoenix, you can not open a channel. You can easily just download the wallet and start using the wallet. This is not possible on noncustodial bitcoin lightning network wallet. I can generate invoice for pay on Phoenix without any channel opened for it. Or is there a way on the wallet to open and close a channel?
Phoenix is non-custodial wallet, you have seed words and node is created and operated on smartphone.
If you want option for opening and closing channels try checking out alternative lightning wallet Zeus LN.

You are correct. It is noncustodial. But let us say Phoenix is noncustodial and another lightning wallet like Aqua or others is noncustodial. Will you be able to recover your lightning coins from Phoenix on another lightning network wallet? I think you will need the same noncustodial wallet for the recovery. If Phoenix is gone and not accessible anymore, you money is gone. Or am I wrong?
You can always send sats from your installed wallet to some other wallet even if Phonex is gone.
They are not the only lightning wallet that works like this, and they made this decision because they wanted some protection against US official attacks.

I find this kind of ban quite stupid
like when they try to block sites by obscuring them from internet providers' DNS
just use another state's DNS and you're good to go

in any case if they want to use phoenix just run it under tor (integrated) or use a router with tor transparently and then use a vpn
the problem is soon solved

In crypto there are different ways you can actually make money without taking much risk..ain't saying this is risk free but you know, it can't be compared when you force yourself trading and losing it all in one goal

there is also lending, dear friends
Lending is fantastic, you have to lend money to those who want to do leveraged trading
whatever your outcome, whether your trade goes well or badly, we receive commissions
exchange like
- bitfinex
- poloniex
- kucoin
they offer markets where those who lend money can decide the % they prefer and this is very nice
Binance decides what % to give you, this is not nice

It is a risk that traders who trade will definitely experience losses in several ways. This can also be used as an important lesson so that in the future we don't make the same mistake many times.

undoubtedly there are risks, but those who do not do it professionally and have no experience simply do not know how to mitigate these risks and therefore are unable to be efficient and effective.
For example, many don't consider that putting the STOP LOSS sign is mandatory if you don't want to lose money, they think it's superfluous, which it isn't.

So true. But Victor Osimhen really deserves to be able to play for a bigger club, such as clubs in the premier league. Even Osimhen and the Napoli club did not seem very harmonious at the start of this season after several things happened there. But last season Napoli also retained Osimhen by setting a very high price. And maybe in the next transfer market the same thing will happen. Where Napoli will make clubs interested in signing Osimhen slowly withdraw by setting a high transfer price.

unfortunately he now has no money problems, but now he is hungry for victories, to put his name in some relevant sporting result
With Napoli in such a bad situation, obviously he would be in the rust zone and it's not good for him or for his career so obviously he wants to go elsewhere and play in the Champions League
I don't think so badly, it's the president's fault that Napoli lost him

Many thought that in the bitcoin halving once it had been reached it was mandatory to reach a new ATH, but that is not the case, things usually happen in the indicated time, and those who bought in the race thinking that they were going to pass the rally bullish people will feel disappointed, this is a normal effect, but you have to wait, always see that things can be different and that different types of things can be generated that can influence any part of people's investment, you should not Don't despair, bitcoin will rise, but we don't know.

paradoxically, at the time of the halving, bitcoin drops in price and does not increase, after about a year we see the first increases
this is based on the past of halvings obviously
but given that bitcoin is an asset with a very static cycle I think it will go exactly the same way ;)

Ethereum Forum / Re: Reason why you hold Ethereum
« on: Today at 12:33:52 PM »
For the last few years, I have been holding Ethereum only to pay for transactions for purchases and sales of some coins on the Ethereum blockchain, I just stopped holding Ethereum due to the fact that a huge number of other coins and blockchains have appeared on the market that bring more profit than holding Ethereum.

I have decided to move to OP at the moment, I believe that layer 2 of Ethereum will have a greater growth in percentage
furthermore it is really useful, you really save a lot in fees so it is particularly used both for exchanging ETHEREUM and other tokens, such as stable coins of course

in any case the novelty of this halving, if you have noticed, is the part of ordinals and rare satoshis
check your addresses if you have any, there are 417 rare satoshis worth a whopping $430k and that's not a lot
extracting them is a mess, but for 430k you're happy to do it

Anyway guys, rest assured that our ETF will be approved
already approved elsewhere in the world, the US market is missing from the main market
but in the end they too will accept the fact that they have to approve it as it was for bitcoin ETF
for sure 100%

https://disruptive-horizons.com/p/can-other-countries-introduce-taxation

I find it truly absurd and far-fetched to have a sort of tax that follows your nationality
if you are french but live in spain, the state looks for you and forces you to pay taxes

why aren't they so eager to ask for taxes from google, amazon, ebay, microsoft who only pay a fucking 3%?
Interesting

Solana Forum / Re: Is Solana coin a good investment?
« on: May 06, 2024, 09:55:41 AM »
It is true that home investment requires maintenance costs. As a woman, I suggest to my husband, if you want to invest, invest in gold or crypto, where if you need money you can immediately convert it into money, provided you buy crypto when the market is bear or corrected.

this is how it should be done perfectly
but for ordinary people it's not like that, it's not done like that
they buy high and sell when they are in panic, seen with my own eyes even with highly skilled and educated people
you have to think the opposite in this specific sector, otherwise you're just wasting money

« on: May 06, 2024, 09:53:56 AM »
Yeah exactly. It will always create pullbacks or even deeper corrections and that is kinda normal to cryptocurrency. Just like Altcoins wherein some of those shitcoins pump continuously and then dump that some of them might not recover and became a dead coin but this will not happen to Bitcoin as it already has proven the greatest coin of all.

unfortunately behind every single coin there is someone who wants to profit from you, all foundations, companies, congregations ultimately aim to make money
this makes them weak, while bitcoin has no one who wants to make money from it and whoever was there is dead or doesn't care (I'm referring to satoshi nakamoto)

surely as you may have noticed there was an absurd peak in fees (fortunately contained in a few hours) certainly due to ordinals or runes or the combination of both
I don't know if anyone has checked if he has rare satoshis, do it

think about whether you have to do it with very high fees
I advise you to do it now that the fees are relatively low but obviously everyone decides for themselves, I don't oblige anyone
when it's time to spend them, however, you will be hit with fees, because perhaps they are high and you have to spend them

Fees are still going down 15 satvB is eernough to get a confirmationIf the bull market warms down , fees will get lower veery quickly
during the night we even reached 13 satoshis per vbyte, better than thatnow is the time to consolidate, dont think about it when the fees are highconsolidated, send something to LN or liquid and be ready for the next moment of high feesbetter prepare beforehand

eh ok, but it is not easy being a tradermany approach how they understood everything by watching a single video on the internet or youtube, it doesnt work that waytrading is done with experience and an excellent dose of luckwhich I dont have, I dont have the time to learn through luck, so I just watch who trades, better
