John McAfee have been engaging in a dirty market manipulation,
He has been suggesting coins to buy ...
The problem is that he is actually playing the market, to make profits for himself.
Thus you should avoid falling for his trap, for these reasons:
- Once he announces a coin, you will never be able to buy a previous price, within less than 3 seconds the coin price will be 2 to 10 time original price.
- Less than 3 minutes later, the price drops to almost half and keeps dropping.
If you try to take advantage of his pump, you will buy high, and lose money if you want to stop loss.

The "John McAfee coin of the day" pump & dump really is one of the obnoxious side effects of all the media attention crypto coins received.
Just think: Why would the guy give free expert advice about wich currency is hot at the moment in the media?
Lot's of newbies fall for the "expert opinion" and loose. The lesson learned from this should be not to trust any expert advice at all and do your own research before investing.

Also, there are lots of bots that are faster than you if you try to do that trade. They will beat you every time. So unless you have a tradebot with a fiber connection located in the same city as the exchange, I would not recommend trying to play that game - learned the hard way...

Your post is very informative. Although many people is following and believing unto him up to now. We should still be careful. And there is that fake account of him. Someone is using his name for his interest.

Many people and traders belive McAfee because of the token pumps or coin pumps but Many people copying McAfee and they are trying to scam peoples. Beware Guys!!

McAfee has been proven to be extorting payouts from companies and coins he pumps and its just ridiculous unethical.. this guy is terrible for the ecosystem and should be avoided at all costs (not just because of the potential of bag hodling his shills, but its just terrible for the community that he's involved).

I'm not sure if he does it to "pump" for his personal gains. There are just some traders who takes advantage of the newbies from his selections.

Pump and dump schemes are just terrible for the market in general and should be avoided. Only a select few will get out with any sort of profit and everyone else will be stuck bagholding.. Theres a reason John McCaffee moved out of the US.. because I'm pretty sure he recognizes what he does is illegal there.

It's been a while since I saw him do a coin of the day/week. The last one I remember is Syscoin. The project is solid in my opinion but the tweet did more harm than gain.

Avoid Mcafee Coin from pump day / week I can not give an opinion, because I am still a beginner and still studying.

Its kind of a good thing because Mcaffee has announced because of SEC pressure, that he will not do any more ICO recommendations or paid announcements. (good!) He blames the SEC for not allowing the freedom for this space to do as it would do without the "Mother May I" but I don't like him getting rich off of simply suggesting some shitcoin and having him dump his bags on people (while also getting paid extortion levels of money to shill it in the first place).

before his apologies I can not comment on Avoid Mcafee Coin from the pump day / week, because here I am still a beginner and I just joined in altcoin, hopefully altcoin can go forward and victorious.

John McAfee's a big mouth. He certainly created a good antivirus, but in cryptocurrencies he talks a lot and does nothing.He's PR.In the market there are more competent people in the cryptocurrency issue.

I do not support pump and dump they only kill cryptocoins. Pump and dump is a scam they buy before they announce and sell when you are buying though pump and dump is not illegal in the crypto space
