in 2018 to 2020 the price of crypto is still low, there is no drastic increase, friend, for 3 years the market price has decreased for sure many people are desperate. and now in 2021 the price is starting to skyrocket where new entrants are popping up because crypto is being famous everywhere. If the market returns to the way it was in 2018 will the newcomers be mentally strong and keep their coins from being sold?

I think that was an obvious manipulation Mate, they are creating and spreading "FUD" so that the weak hands will be panicked and sell their holdings, nothing new about it whales are expert with that kind of trick, especially in today's bullish market trend we all know that many noobs are riding in the recent bull run so they are a soft target by those FUD and whales are watching to catch their holdings at a much lower price.

I also agree with you on the matter. I have also noticed in various forums that some people are saying that the crypto market will collapse like in 2016; Many new and small investors have panicked and sold their cryptocurrencies at low prices. I think in crypto it is a normal process and it was also needed after continuous growth. The technique of blue whales also works here. I believe that crypto will not collapse like it did in 2016 as there are many institutional investors now.

I also have noticed that some FUD news here amd there. As a real investor and holder i never get panicked on any FUD news. It is may a strategy of whale investor as you said i also have doubt on this. On the other hand market is starting recover it is a positive sign.
