The Colorado Secretary of State Wayne Williams has called for the acceptance of cryptocurrencies for political campaigns.

The Office of the Colorado Secretary of State published a new working draft of its “Rules Concerning Campaign and Political Finance” on Wednesday, proposing the allowance of crypto donations on political campaign.

Smart move, and seems to make sense coming from Colorado.. you have alot of libertarians when it comes to economy.. but also socially liberal enough to accept this quicker.  I hope this can be a thing too, cuz I'd really like political campaign donations to be on the blockchain so it can all be monitored later so if theres any questions about funds, it can be easily seen and looked up by anyone with no sort of closed doors.

Yeah, I can see it being really counter productive if you can donate using something like Monero.  So long as it's all publicly viewable this would be a good change for sure.
