Forum Time?

Admin can you please tell us what is the exact Forum Time?

I can't find it here, like we have it in other forums, and I think it can be very useful especially for some giveaways, rewards and competitions.
Time zones can be confusing for some people, and Forum Time can help a little with that.

From what I have seen so far, I would say that it is UTC +1
I think that the forum server is hosted by a Polish company, so it seems logical that this is why it has such a time zone.

You can adjust this in the Forum profile >> Look and Layout

I think examplens is right, the forum's default time of the forum is UTC + 1. I have also looked for it and found that UTC + 1 is the forum's default time. You can check this link, and notice it yourself that it's at UTC + 1.

At first I was also confused in the forum time but later I discovered that the forum time is the same with my time zone. When my local time is 12AM  here, the forum time is also the same so if I am typing I also look at the time so that I wouldn't enter the next day by 12am.

Yeah that's correct, am currently on GMT +1 time zone and it's same time with the forum time, like you I was skeptical about the time zone because of some time I would be stress from work and would want to make out time to feel along in the forum and wouldn't want to miscalculate the time zone because the time zone over in BTCT seems to be an hour behind .

I have had problems relating this in the past but I later figured, not just from this forum or my own time zone. But I made the calculation from the other forum (BTT) and I concluded that the other forum is 1 hr ahead of this forum. That is how I actually knew the time of the forum.

Lolz, I also wondered what exactly he was really talking about,  what is "UCT", or was he going to say "UTC"?  And the numbers that followed.. "24 : 00: 01" and "23: 59: 59" is just like 1 second between each other  when the former is flipped to the later, and the later flipped to the former, for example, after 23: 59: 59, what follows is  24: 00, which also is 12: 00 am in a non 24 hour time format.

Is there really anything like "AM" in timezone?
AM meaning "ante meridiem" which also stands for "before midday" and in a non 24 hour time format, "AM" is one of time attributes; used to divide the 24 hours time into two parts, the before midday(AM) and after midday(PM).

How did, or when did "AM" become a timezone? your comment is as confusing as f**ck, you possibly the first user on this forum to earn the bad quality trust, also can be regarded as a negative trust.

And if you can make it show all the time even when members are not logged in the forum.

I also didn't find any forum time as a guest. However, the forum time is displayed at the top left when you log in.



I found the same thing on another forum based on SMF 2017, also used by the Altcoinstalks forum.

After I have been active since 2018 on altcoinstalks, I was also surprised and once asked the admin about the time when altcoinstalks did not appear when logging out but the admin ignored my question.
But according to my observations, this seems like a positive thing from the admin so that we continue to be active in the forum because we can only see the forum time when we log in.

And we can also see the list of "Online Users" on the bottom page of the Altcoinstalks website, check this please:

-The more people who register accounts on Altcoinstalks, the better the traffic on the Altcoinstalks website will be.
-If you want to see the forum time then we have to log in to the altcoinstalks forum.
-The more people who log in to the forum and are visible from the "Online Users" list, the better the traffic on the Altcoinstalks website will be.

In my opinion, there is no urgency for admins to make forum time secret when accessed by guests.
If the admin wants the altcoinstalks forum to be more private, he can just turn off the 'Allow guests to browse the forum' option in the admin panel's settings.

As seen above, the forum time is not displayed when the user is not logged in.

Let me make another point.
I am keeping upper side of the forum (with my username and forum time) collapsed to save some space.
My proposal for admin is to keep time separate from profile information, and to move it to other position, bottom of the page or top right corner.

There is a lot of empty space on the right side:

It seems it's forum time not UTC+1 but UTC. The original post I made at 22:51 UTC+1 but forum time shows 11:51:45 PM which is 23:51:45.

It's not UTC, not UTC+1 but it's UTC+2 LOL

Now check the time at the top.
