It is quite interesting, and I use telegram with a crypto wallet that I have activated.
But the crypto wallet generated on telegram cannot be exported to another crypto wallet and you will also not get a seed phrase.

That means we as wallet owners do not have full access to the wallet and only Telegram knows.
I don't really use it for my main assets, just use it to explore TONS of space and the ecosystem within it with the minimum funds I send to my telegram wallet

It is difficult to penetrate a market that has been captured by other chat applications, even though the software offered by cryptocurrency-based projects has more features and additional features such as no data being taken. In fact, many people are comfortable with WhatsApp, Line and Telegram, their friends are too... so to be able to chat with their friends, instead of having to install crypto-based applications with features that are too unnecessary for chatting, it's better to rely on existing applications. .

I know that everyone has different abilities in analyzing opportunities, but the opportunity to get rid of a chat application company is very difficult and even requires a very long promotion and a high budget to displace its throne.

That's why I'm a little pessimistic about chat-based cryptocurrency projects.

What do you think about crypto messaging apps? Can they really change the way we use digital assets, or are just there..

Those apps are in bad position. It's not popular enough to make regular people use it. It makes cryptocurrency enthusiast continue to use certain wallet software and use popular messaging app to let the receiver know they've sent the coin. I don't use Apple product, but it seems iMessage is one of very few application which successfully combine messanging and money transfer feature.

For me, I do not prefer using messaging applications to send and receive crypto assets because they are somewhat dangerous, but at the same time I am not against this type of technology, especially if it meets all security standards in the future.

Whether we like it or not, messaging applications have come to dominate our lives, and integrating Crypto with these applications will have a positive impact in terms of expanding and spreading adoption, while on the negative side, fraudulent operations will increase greatly.

Why don't you post some example of this crypto messaging apps?
I didn't see anything that is actually working so far, and it would probably be very slow or more centralized to use.
Only good reason for using them would be if they can't be shut down and closed by any governments, and if they preserve user privacy.

This seems to be an even worse option than a regular hot wallet where you can at least make your backup and recover the wallet if something goes wrong. Therefore, I don't see any great danger in someone connecting a chat app with a coin wallet if from time to time they will transfer some smaller value there - but I'm afraid that a lot of users don't understand the concept of custodial vs. non-custodial wallets, and that by using such apps they can live in the delusion that their funds are safe.

My opinion is that such things should not be mixed, but it is up to everyone to choose what to use and in what way.

but I'm afraid that a lot of users don't understand the concept of custodial vs. non-custodial wallets, and that by using such apps they can live in the delusion that their funds are safe.

My opinion is that such things should not be mixed, but it is up to everyone to choose what to use and in what way.
Beginners probably won't understand the concept, they just use it and transfer their assets to it and think it's a secure wallet because it's in their own account.

Even though looking at the reality that is happening today, many account hacks are happening and of course wallets that have been integrated with the account will also be accessible.

How dangerous this would be if without having good security and not realizing that what they deposited would be vulnerable to being hacked by others and losing it all.

Everyone does have a free choice to use any application or wallet that is integrated with chat applications etc.
But people who really care about the security of their assets will certainly think where is the best place to store assets and have complete control.

if you are just going to ride the pumps of their token, i guess its an easy money when the tokens reaches new heights. its very attractive especially the TONcoin where millions of people are using this app. which also mean more people are aware of the investment they offer. what is the disadvantage of telegram is that their builtin wallet is its built-in. you don't own a private key.
What is the essence if one doesn't own their private keys then? Or the scenario of someone losing their gadgets or someone hacked or stole one gadget that got the person's crypto wallet. What will be the solution to provide?

These will be the questions the sponsors and teams of the crypto messaging app have to address for crypto fellas who want to make use of the crypto messaging app to store their crypto assets. Things they should know and not do to keep their assets safe

Did telegram really changed anything in the cryptocurrency space?
Of course Yes, telegram was solely built as a communication app used for messaging and connecting people around the globe through specify username or channels and cryptocurrency group where people share thoughts and ideas in a single community. With time they has to integrate and adopts cryptocurrency where they had to build their coin and adding wallet to their app.

Hey mates, good day..

Crypto messaging apps are a new thing in the digital world. They're trying to combine the best of messaging apps like Telegram with the features of cryptocurrency wallets and DeFi tools. They promise to make it easy to manage your digital assets and make cryptocurrency transactions. Some people might find them interesting if they're into DeFi and cryptocurrency trading.

What do you think about crypto messaging apps? Can they really change the way we use digital assets, or are just there..
When you say they try to combine the best of messaging apps like telegram... I am moved to ask you what you think telegram is? Isn't telegram also a crypto messaging app? Oh, I get it, Telegram used to be a normal messaging app, but things began to change with them recently.
Telegram owns Ton blockchain and soon enough, the entire Ton ecosystem will be integrated on telegram, there is already an inbuilt crypto wallet on the telegram app.

So, now tell me, what other crypto messaging app are you talking about? Will that one be bigger than telegram with over 900 million users?
...HOT.app......Because.It's.Gonna.Be HUGE......Mine.HOT on Telegram...

What do you think about crypto messaging apps? Can they really change the way we use digital assets, or are just there..
It is progress in terms of technology, and it will make sending cryptocurrency between close family and friends as well as business associates a lot easier and faster.

But we still have to exercise caution because, just like exchanges, it is still not advisable for you to store your Bitcoin or whatever crypto assets you have on these messaging apps with crypto wallets permanently.
in short this is one risky move to use for crypto users because both are vulnerable to bad elements that can easily take involved funds from the users .
so indeed that this will take time before being trusted not unless they can prove its safeties in which will be harder for people like us to trust because we have witnessed how good hackers and scammers can be in terms of looking into our funds.
