Social Content Designer - Remote UK
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in social media design and marketing, with a passion for blockchain technology as well as experience in motion graphics with the bonus of Web3 and 3D.
Duties
You will be responsible for leading and executing visual designs that effectively communicate and promote IOG’s blockchain products and initiatives through Creative Skunkworks
Define and maintain the visual brand standards for IOG’s blockchain products and initiatives
Stay current on design trends and technologies, and make recommendations to enhance the design process and output
Lead workshops and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, and marketing, to bring design concepts to life
Continuously explores new practices and patterns for their problem-solving toolkit
Uses creativity from a wider perspective in terms of re-framing problems and approaches
Requirements
Key Competencies
Designing social media content for web, social media platforms Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, and TikTok - both stills and videos
Lead on design and creative vision for social channels
Video/audio editing and production
Experienced in creating Instagram Reels and Tiktok videos
Experience in kinetic animation
Ability to create visually engaging brand-boosting content
Be proactive in bringing ideas for social posts to the table with a focus on Reels and meme-based content
Research audience preferences and discovering current trends
Excellent communication
Positive attitude and strong team player mentality
Education / Experience
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in graphic, design or a related field (beneficial but not essential)
A minimum of 3 years of experience in social media design and editing
Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of design projects
Excellent design and animation skills (After Effects)
Video/audio editing and production
Strong understanding of social media platforms - understanding of meme culture, consistently up to date with latest trends and ability to contribute original ideas
Familiar with creating content for Instagram Reels
3D, Web3 and AI knowledge is a bonus
Passion for blockchain technology and its potential impact on society
