Saya kira semua jenis investasi pada cryptocurrency pasti bakal memiliki resiko (tidak terkecuali dengan invest pada Bitcoin maupun Ethereum). Hanya saja yang jadi pertimbangannya, apakah layak resiko tersebut dengan potensi income yang mungkin bisa didapatkan. Kalo buat pemain lama pasti tidak akan membutuhkan waktu lama buat menentukan keputusan, sementara buat pendatang baru, memang sebaiknya harus dipikir-pikir dulu secara matang  .

Kalo saya pribadi yang menjadi motivasi untuk invest pada Ethereum bukan hanya untuk hasil jangka panjang, namun ada keinginan bagaimana caranya agar bisa turut serta berkontribusi di jaringan konsensus Ethereum itu sendiri (obesesi staking secara mandiri, yang berarti harus memiliki 32 ETH agan bisa menjadi activate validator  ).

Snowden là người làm trong lĩnh vực bảo mật thông tin, anh ta luôn nghĩ đến việc tìm cách ẩn danh tốt nhất có thể, và những dự án như Zcash có thể là hình mẫu để học hỏi vì giúp người dùng được ẩn danh và an toàn trước những rủi ro bị điều tra. Tuy nhiên, nền kinh tế khó mà vận hành dựa trên những điều như thế, cảnh sát vẫn cần điều tra và truy tìm tội phạm mạng, đặc tính của BTC có thể giúp cho dữ liệu được lưu trên blockchain mà không thể nào thay đổi được, khi kẻ xấu rút tiền về ngân hàng thì sẽ bị xác định danh tính.

Không có giải pháp nào là toàn diện, đặc biệt là khi BTC đang được yêu thích bởi nhiều kẻ xấu. BTC với những tính năng minh bạch hóa ở hiện tại là phù hợp với yêu cầu pháp lý, còn những coin ẩn danh sẽ dần bị hủy niêm yết và hoạt động với thanh khoản cực kỳ kém.

Ẩn danh hoặc minh bạch - Bitcoin đã chọn minh bạch để được chấp nhận như loại tiền tệ hoặc khoản đầu tư của những tổ chức và quốc gia, tránh được những cáo cuộc rửa tiền như vài năm trước. Những coin ẩn danh như XMR, ZEC, DASH đang dần biến mất dù chúng từng được ca ngợi là có tính ẩn danh tốt hơn hẳn BTC. Những coin này đã chọn sai hướng: họ tập trung vào tính ẩn danh vì tin rằng mọi người sẽ lựa chọn sử dụng chúng. Thực ra nhà đầu tư đến với crypto là để kiếm lợi nhuận, họ cần sự an toàn pháp lý chứ không phải là ẩn danh để rồi bị hủy niêm yết hàng loạt.

Gary Gensler, Chair of the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), defended the agency’s attention to the crypto industry in an interview, asserting that it’s not an undue focus but rather a response to the prevalence of scams and frauds within the sector.

Gensler emphasized that while crypto represents a small portion of the financial markets, it disproportionally contributes to issues such as scams and frauds, attracting significant media attention.

While I fully agree with the honest assessment that the cryptocurrency industry has become a paradise for many scammers, hackers and similar evil players whose main intention is to fool people for their hard-earned money and to create havoc with many platforms to steal as many digital assets possible, there is also a big problem with SEC with the way it is working with players of the industry because it is looking at it as enemy instead of as partners so all can be working to weed out scammers and fraudsters from the industry. And SEC must be making things clear and not cloud many things so everyone can be guided accordingly and if possible work with the industry to come up with regulatory framework that all can submit to.

Are you on the side of SEC with Gary Gensler or you think there are many things that SEC seems to fail to fully understand in regards to the cryptocurrency industry?

Agree with you, investors can invest in any coins, both old coins and new coins, where they must understand the risks and be brave enough to take those risks. right , new con are really risky as the chance of being scam are there but we cannot deny the fact that comparing to other old coins? new coins has the potential of bringing huge return if you can get the right timing of entering and releasing ,so in the end it is on our hand to what will be our faith in this investment world.

One of the main reasons why investors are more interested in new coins than old ones is because of the possibility of making large profit. But the amount of risk is also high. Typically newer coins have higher buying pressure due to which timely investment in those coins can lead to higher returns. But new coins can also fall quickly. New coins are usually a trap for scammers and have both high returns and high risks.

For Dogecoin price movements, this will look good, but for Elon Musk who has this product when receiving Dogecoin payments, he must be prepared for the risk that when making transactions using Dogecoin the price collapses and will only make him lose, so he must accept that risk.

Your explanation is quite reasonable, maybe Elon Musk is afraid of losing large amounts of money, but for now we can buy accessories owned by Tesla by making payments using dogecoin.
