Title: Locking Old Threads
Post by: ZionRTZ on July 11, 2019, 05:40:05 PM
There are so many old threads that are no longer relevant to today's discussion but still being bumped by some bounty hunters and I don't think the OPs plan to lock them up anytime soon. Can admin or mods do it?

Examples:
Ethereum will regain the number two positions. (https://www.altcoinstalks.com/index.php?topic=87124.0) Locked
When Will Ethereum Get Back To #2 (https://www.altcoinstalks.com/index.php?topic=78135.0) Locked
Welcome back ETH! (https://www.altcoinstalks.com/index.php?topic=87974.0) Locked
Ethereum today. (https://www.altcoinstalks.com/index.php?topic=84464.0) Locked
ETH holders will profit at the end of the year. Is it true? (https://www.altcoinstalks.com/index.php?topic=67208.msg401837#msg401837) (posted 2018)Locked

I have updated the OP and added one more. I will continue to add when I see more old and irrelevant topics.

How about plagiarized topic? Most of them are months behind the original post and usually irrelevant also. I think they should be locked too.

I think this is necessary for local threads too. Those threads create info pollution when newbies want to rise in rank quickly.

Yes, I agree. I think the moderator on the local board must be active to lock the old thread and always monitoring.
